One last question- The biometrics fee is unclear..Are we supposed to send a biometrics fee for my wife? (She is the permanent resident)
-
Hi everyone,
I am sending off our I-751 today, and just had a few questions hoping I could get a little help.
We are within 30 days of my Wife's green card expiring is this still okay? She has been very sick with pregnancy and we were in the middle of a move so have not sent it as soon as we would like to, however her green card still has 30 days to go.
Also
When filing your paperwork how did you organize it for uscis? Did you use a binder? folders? etc?
Thanks!

So that means roughly a 58% chance of her being allowed ?
-
Is there anyway she can come for an extended visit?
-
Can someone please point me in the right direction.
I married me wife who is from Uganda about two years ago. She is still a permanent conditional resident and we will be applying soon for conditions to be dropped. My wife is now pregnant with what will be both of our first child.
She would like to petition to get her mom here ASAP, what is the quickest way to get her mother to be able to join us here in the USA?
Once her mom is here what would be the process in getting her sister to come?
Does anyone know time frames of each (her mom/her sister)

Good morning everyone!
Oh man I have taken long from being here on the forums. I am researching for a friend who is about to marry a lovely Ugandan woman as I have forgotten the process that I had to go through.
The time to pay for interview and schedule interview has come. How can someone living in Uganda pay the Kenya embassy? It's very unclear and unfortunately not even phone support seems to know. Some people say you have to go in person to Nairobi just to pay the fees and others say you can use MPESA. I have looked online for proper instructions and can't seem to come up with much information.
Also phone support says you have to schedule an interview before paying, and the USCIS email says you can't schedule until paying.
Please help!

Hi everyone, My wife was approved a K1 and we went through the entire immigration process. We got Married in April and she now has her greeen card. I am booking a flight for her to go home for the holidays to be with her family. My question is
When booking the ticket do I put the name of her Ugandan Visa as the traveler? Or do I use the green card married name? I am assuming she will need to present both things at one point and possible our marriage cert?
Also if I personally have to get shots to travel to Uganda does she also need those shots when visiting her family back home or because she is Ugandan no shots necessary?
Thank you

hey guys sorry ive been gone for sometime after posting.
Things are a lot better. We just needed to learn to communicate a bit better than we had been. Truly getting out what was hurting or bothering both of us. Communication is Key for sure.

Let me rephrase, during the adjustment status did you and your fiancé or wife fight at least once a week ? Did it ever get better ?
-
Hi guys,
Have any of you started out your marriage once your fiance arrived here and it was Extreme hell the first month instead of loving bliss?
-
Also just to confirm I-693 isn't needed if K1 was approved within the year?
-
I really appreciate the help you are giving me. In 2013 I did not file a tax return because I did not make income I was a student and my parents provided for me.
So for question 20 it says "I was not required to file a tax return as my income was below the IRS required level and I have attached evidence to support this."
I Would check that off and just provide IRS record that I did not file that tax year? what other kind of evidence do i need to support that?
Shadow did you use a Co-Sponsor or because his 2015 tax return was above the level thats all you needed and didn't do joint sponsor?

Completely blank as in don't put 0's or 1 in that box or any of the others that don't pertain to me?
-
Thanks for the quick reply, I hope you are right!
One more question,
It states in part 5"Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit?"Provide the number you entered in part 3 Item numebr 28,That number would be 1 for my wife. Then underneath it says Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit.Enter 1 for yourselfIf you are currently married Enter 1 for your spouse.my spouse is listed above, but I am also married. Do i still put 0? for thatto make my household zero or whats the correct thing to do here? -
Hi everyone,
We are finally getting around to filing AOS papers for my wife who arrived a few months ago on a K1 visa.
My last years taxes reflect that I make enough to support us but before that was in school and did not make enough, so I had my father who owns his own business also fill out an I-864 as a joint sponsor. Does my dad also need to fill out an I-864A? or just the I-864 is fine?
Secondly it says when filling out the I-864 that we (me and my dad) need to prove our citizenship, is this done just by providing a biographical page of our passports?
What kind of timeframe is EOD and Advance Paraole for traveling taking most folks?

Title says it all, Applying for adjustment of status now do we send the $1070 in one check or split it up in the i-485 and the other check biometrics fee?
Thanks
-
