i was worried for awhile thinking we might only get the ead card without ap Luckily it was really a combo card when it arrived. Just fyi for everyone else waiting.

Hi guys, i just noticed a strange thing on our status online. Our EAD receipt number shows the card has been mailed to us. But our AP receipt number just shows as case approved. We already received the combo card so i'm guessing only the ead receipt number was important since it's a combo card once your case has been approved? Just fyi for everyone still waiting for there EAD/AP

as of this morning they are on to sept 24 and 25th now so we're getting closer!

According to the current processing times USCIS just started on apps from Sept 18 (EAD) and Sept 20 (AP)... so hopefully they get to Oct apps by the first or second week of dec and everyone get's there cards by xmas/ny... happy thanksgiving everyone!

Seems like some people wait up to 30 days to get the NOA's

i know i'm just worried it will delay by EAD/AP now which i've seen mixed posts about when you get a RFE Hopefully i can still get it before chinese new years so i can go back to see family
This gets asked just about every month in the monthly threads and it doesn't seem to make significant difference since most people only go a couple days before their appointment. But i guess any little thing could move it along just slightly faster.

We got a RFE email/text today for our I-485
I wished they actually told us what they needed so we could prepare the documents instead of waiting for the actual letter..

Yep it doesn't look like the biometrics appointment updates the status online. I think the next update will be when your EAD/AP combo card has been approved and when the card goes into production/mailed out.
