While in the USA I was sharing the phone with mu hubby who was the petitioner. And he changed it to my name. I did not see the need of getting a phone as I did not have friends except one or two.But he pays the phone bill. I do not own a car and only got learners license. I am not on lease or any deed with him as we were staying with in laws while there. During the 8 months here he could not visit due to a major medical issue. I have ATM card of shared bank account, learners driver license. While there I had a job for about 3 months and quit as it was not paying well. I have no idea what else to gather. What should I show to provide evidence of maintaining LPR?

Hello friends. I am a CR1 LPR and first entry to USA was on march 12 2015. I stayed till Dec 31st and travelled back to University in Turkey to complete my studies. Am done and will be travelling back on 2nd September. I know as long as I have greencard max. Out of country stay is 1 year. Any problem I should expect upon entrance? Thank you!!

Considering she has not graduated yet. I have not yet graduated too. I think the purpose of the question is to ensure that no one has plans to practise medicine in the US without having the proper credentials and licensing. Yes, during the interview I was questioned in detail about the details of my medical school status and if i knew that I would have to take the USMLE in order to practise.

I had to turn in documents twice to ankara embassy. Relax by friday visa will be sent. They are quick once approved.

I am from kenya, a 3rd world country too and my hubby filled the adresses in our i-130 and ds-260 as I had told him..does not really matter I guess..fill it as he has given you I would say.

Happy for you, mine got denied once again.. Been told to take out a new passport that the one I have the pic is not clear.. They had to make me wait 1.5 months to be told this again! I hope I can maintain my sanity.. Its 1.5 more months of waiting again..

Is the work authorizing document number for CR1 holder same as alien number?

I last saw my hubby in august 2013.. He left second day after the wedding.. Interview was on 15th dec 2014 and I was approved.. All I can say is as long as it is genuine no need to worry.. Go prepared with ALL the evidence.. Present more and be prepared more and it will be well.. Be blessed

My clearance certificate reached them on 20th.. It took 2 months to get that! And like you my case was expedited before... Just the dates have been changing on status update of AP.. Let me set myself for feb then.. But its sooo stressing..! All the best to us.. But I will contact them if I do not hear anything by next wednesday.

I will be entering the US late Jan if all goes well, on CR1 visa. Will be there till end of april then i have to go back to turkey finish my degree.. I will try transferring my credits for a few months say 3-4 by getting a university in states where i can cover for the time in turkey.. If not it means i will be out of USA from may till dec 2015.. Does it mean i have to get a re-entry permit before leaving? What do yiu advice? I will be out for 8 months +2 weeks if I cannot transfer credits.thank you!

I had same issue and document was needed for interview.. Tell him to call IRS office in his city and tell them as embassy says, my hubby did so and picked it within hours and sent me.
