  1. Thanks guys. I have sent in a few utility bills where our names are both on the bill. I've sent 9 affidavit letters signed from friends and family .I've sent 3 packages of photos. I sent 2 years of tax forms but these were not the tax transcripts. These were W2 and 1040 forms.

We haven't taking a honeymoon yet cause we can't afford it right now. So we don't have any proof of any trips taken. I will send the rest of what I have some updated things. Send in the tax transcripts and a full copy of our house loan and a cover letter see how this will do. You think getting a lawyer would make any difference at this point?

  2. I'm a bit concerned about my situation with me and my wifes case. I just recieved a request for evidence letter today. After sending all the evidence that I have. I may have a couple of more things I could send but gathering things together as I just got the request letter today.

They are requesting that we send joint responsibilty or joint residence throughout the length of the conditional residence as we did not send sufficient evidence.

We currently have separate bank accounts. I sent our bank statements from a 2 year period but it is not a joint account yet. I don't know if it would make any difference now to get a joint account and then send this in? We also dont have any joint credit cards or car insurance or car titles. Since I had the same car since my wife first arrived here and no joint car insurance everything is still in my name.

So, the only joint ownership that we sent in was copies of joint Tax statements of 2012 and 2013, Separate bank statements with the same address, Joint medical cards showing same address and lending disclosers on our house but I only sent a copy of the front page of the lending disclosure of our home.

What should I do here? Should I go ahead and get joint bank accounts, insurance etc... and then send these in even though they're asking for documents throughout the marriage? I don't really have the money for a lawyer right now. I would really like to avoid that if possible.

If anyone has had a similar situation or any information I would deeply appriciate it.
