I have not received a letter like that (fingers crossed that I don't!). Did they give a reason for the delay?

Updated processing times released on December 5th.
Field Office Processing Dates for Texas Service Center as of: October 31, 2014
I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status Employment-based adjustment applications May 1, 2014Ugh. Looks like we're easily at the 6 month mark for processing.

This is so frustrating. My status online still says Finger Print fee accepted on July 21st. I haven't found calling to be particularly helpful. I called today and they didn't provide any additional information beyond what was already on the website. They said it's in queue and that Texas Service Center is behind in processing cases - they are at April 2nd, 2014 for employment based petitions - and to wait 3-4 more months . That processing time is as of September 30th online so I am hoping they're really still not so far behind, especially since I'm seeing that people are finally getting theirs.
Anyone else file for AOS at the Texas Service Center in an employment based category?

Congrats and Good luck to everyone who has their interview I was wondering how many people were still on "acceptance"? My AOS status hasn't changed since the end of July, even though I had my biometrics on August 22nd and I already got my EAD.
Same here. My husband and I both got our EADs, and I got my AP. The status hasn't changed for either of our AOS or his AP.

Mine too
Also sitting in Acceptance since July 21st.. Sigh.
July 2014 AOS Filers
in Adjustment of Status Case Filing and Progress Reports
Posted
Just wanted to send a quick update. We filed AOS based on an approved employment based immigrant petition. As soon as the online timeline updated to dates after my submission date, I filed an inquiry using the online form. 3 weeks later they sent my husband and I RFEs - his medical form was incomplete, and we both needed to send evidence that we had been in status for the last 8-9 (!) years. 3 weeks after submitting the requested information, we received our welcome packet and our cards have been mailed out! TSC was really backed up and they did not update our case statuses when they sent the RFE, so it is hard to gauge if things are moving along. If you haven't heard anything by now, submit an inquiry into your case to get it moving along.
