Honest question whats the difference between expat and an immigrant, seem you immigrated to the US? Good read by the way.

Thanks ! yeah, I'm technically an immigrant you're right, since it's the only to be able to live in the US, but I expatriated from my country, and I'm still going back there once a while. And Expat works better as an hashtag on twitter

Yeah maybe that's why. It's actually the embassy that gave me the apt, and not NVC. You should be ok then ! Anyway NVC probably sent your file, so you'll fear from them soon if they need anything. Chicago is nice yeah, cold right now, but nice !

oh and also, I'm using Upela.com to send some of my boxes from France to usa and it's not the price of a plane ticket ! I pay around 100$ per box, sometimes less!

Ce matin jai recu la lettre de rappel pour le ROC disant que si jai suffisemement de preuves yaura peut etre pas dinterview. Cest envoye automatiquement a tout le monde cette lettre?

Mais les immigrants ne sont pas elligibles a Medicaid pourtant? C'est consideré comme charge publique non?

pour ma part, j'ai lu que tout devait etre en francais OU en anglais. Donc ca devrait aller pour toi!

Bon sinon, j'ai recu mon numero de suivi de lettre, envoyé aujourdhui, mais quand je vais sur le site de la poste, ca met 'numero inconnu'... donc je ne peux pas suivre mon courrier... T_T

J'ai eu mon rdv hier a l'ambassade. L'agent m'a dit 'congratulations, you will receive your visa within 10 days'. Cool et la je vois que mon statut sur ceac est 'administrative processing', c'est normal? Quelqu'un a deja eu ca?
