I got RFE a couple days ago and it says I need to submit more evidence such as all supporting tax documentation and more assets because of the poverty guideline. My husband which is the petitioner is self employed and he doesnt have w2 and 1099s. But I already submitted 1040 which is individual income for the most recent year. Also, he meets 125% of the poverty guideline for the household size, however, they still ask me to submit some assets such as bank statements and etc...
I just got so confused because I don't know what exactly they are asking me to submit even though I already filed with all the supporting tax documentation and some documentation that proved that he makes enough money. Is it because hes self employed? They want to make sure he's having enough money in a saving account or something?
If anyone have any idea, please reply me! I really need your help!
