Thanks for the information. I m scheduled for February 4th, but haven't received the interview letter. Can we still schedule for the biometrics appt or we have to wait till the interview letter P4 comes from NVC?

Question: once the interview is scheduled, how would u know that NVC has shipped to papers to consulate. Do u get a tracking number of the package? If yes, how to get the tracking no? What is the next step after interview date?

I was looking at your timeline & it says that u have biometrics app before ur interview. Just curious to know who schedules the biometrics whether the NVC or urself and where can the biometrics be done whether at nearest consulate or Mumbai consulate? Also can the biometrics be done at Hyderabad consulate?

Calling NVC. They schedule interviews. Than send you off to the embassy to prep for interview.

This is how the madness starts here. There is a certain time for scheduling start. It usually is last few days of the month or the st week of the month until the slots are filled or they run out of people.

Once someone says "I got my interview date start calling" people start calling. Every embassy doesn't start at yje same time. Usually Philippines always starts us off. DR, Canada, UK seemed to be one of the last but you never know.

Hoping this week they will start February scheduling since it is a short month, people have reported back from NVC they say they will start 1st week of the month which is the 5th. So we will see. The 29th, Monday would be nice.

I have read that at the time of the interview, we are requried to pay $165. Can you please tell me what are these fees for? I am not sure whether I paid it already or not. I have paid fees at teh time fo submitting the i130 petition, then $88 and $420. Have already paid?

If I need to pay it, does it have to be in US Currency or a bankers draft of the local currency for the same amount can be paid?

Are there any other fees that needs to be paid at the time of entry at the port?

Please help.

And the $165 is the green card fees that has to be paid after the interview & visa approval. This is what I have read from other people's postings on visajourney, haven't reached that step yet. Hoping to reach at that step soon God willingly.

They are done with January schedule. So you can start call NVC from 1st week of January for Feb Schedule. And for Medical you have to wait for P4(interview) letter, which you will be getting in email

I think the petitioner has to submit the financial evidences (the person who has filled the AOS). Hope this helps. Try to send it soon because the 60 days review wait time is ahead. God bless u in this walk & prayers for everyone who are waiting for their loved ones.

It is tough.....first of all waiting and second knowing that you made a mistake. Me too, waiting on AOS checklist......seems this wait is long....painful, frustrating but same time blelieving God for a review to be done soon. Prayers for everyone who are sailing in the same boat.

I was just thinking about the same thing & asked same kind of question in the NVC forum about anyone receiving any case completion. Me too, waiting & anxious & worried about the AOS checklist review. Praying God for strength, comfort & peace for all those who r in the same boat.

When was ur last scan date? Mine was Nov.5th, I think.

Has anyone recently received CC & yes, then what were their last scanning dates? Just anxious and curious to know.

Is that right no more 60 days email from NVC? What does that mean?

I called the NVC yesterday and was told that the package had not been scanned but the 60 days would start from the day they received it....I always thought it was from the day it was scanned? Maybe they are scanned the day they are received?

I was also told that I would not receive the 60 day email like previously. The rep said they no longer issue those but I'm sure that's untrue.

My package was received by them on the 25th November, so 25th January is my date.

Me too.... Waiting after AOS checklist. My scan date is Nov 4th, so waiting for 60 days has been really painful... God help all of us who are waiting and comfort us... Praying for all those who are sailing in the waiting boat of NVC checklist....

I received AOS checklist and was just wondering how many days does it take for them to review? As per their mail, it states 60 days to review. When is this time going to decrease? Waiting everyday for the first review of AOS & IV documents and now waiting everyday for the AOS checklist review..........feel tired.....

Yes u can get the PCC without NVC letter, just use ur USCIS I-130 approval letter to get the PCC.
