  1. I have filed since July, 2nd 2015. I have had two initial RFEs which I replied to in the beginning of the process: one was a tax paper that was needed and the second was "the household size" which needed to be corrected. After both RFEs the EAD was approved and we received a letter for NOPIW dated October, 11th. Ever since then the case had been pending. In May we decided to file for a service Request. We received the generic mail stating "The case is still pending consideration". At the beginning of June, we received an RFE asking for an English translation of the birth certificate and also page 9 of the form I-693 is not completed. Including in the letter, they stated that the medical would expire soon by June 23, and I had until August to reply to this RFE. Basically, from my understanding, if I reply to this RFE before my medical expires all I have to do is make sure my Civil Surgeon completes the part he did not check-mark, I immediately went back to my civil surgeon. The civil surgeon check marked the part that was not completed, stamped it and sealed it for me. I also went to the Embassy and had an English translation of the birth certificate (which I had already submitted during the initial AOS process). I mailed the RFE back on June 10th which was a Friday. It was received on Monday, june 13. Up until now I have not had a response yet. To follow up, I submitted two other service requests for the month of June and July-nada. All I get as an answer was, "the case is pending consideration". It has been over a year now. Has anybody else been waiting for this long?
