if I wish to extend my immigrant visa should I just send an email to the embassy explaining why ?and do they directly take a discision of approvment or I should make an interview first?

If my port of entry with an IR1 visa was not from the same state in which my address is in the untied states.. how long do think this will delay recieving my green card?

You are right but unfortunatly the university delayed the study for all its student for a year so its just bad luck for us..

Im planning to stay first time for a month and apply for reentry permit but cant wait more so I will leave and come back after 3 months to complete the process .. I know there are biometrics should be done .. could I make another apointment if they are ready while Im outside the USA?or should I begin the process alover again when Im back?

here's my condition ;

I recieved my immigrant visa through my wife which is a USc

we are planning to move to the united states but we cant until my wife finishes her last year education abroad

so we will travel to the united states and out several times and each time will stay out for about 3 months .. I know I should stay and going out may cause me issues but if I tell them at the airport that we are staying abroad just while my wife finishes her study and we must live together would that be convicing to avoid problems and questions concerning my green card?

I was wondering how much is the medical examination costing these days in ankara I read that blood tests with xray is about 200 $ but in the vaccination part they wrote each one might cost 200$!

For a man aged 30 years how much do you advice him to take to the medical office?

If they don't ask for them why offer they will just refuse. Just hold on to them. Yes they will hand you back your pictures they don't keep and you should be getting originals back also at interview.

Do you think its better at the interview to give the officer my wedding photos directly with papers they asked or dont show them unless they ask for evidence of relationship?

another question if I gave them photos I could get back after the interview right?

Iwas reading that if the applicant became under administrative prossesing after the interview the embassy would keep the passport ..what if the applicant was not residing in that country and has to travel back ,how would this prosess go?

after my status became ready I waited about one week but no p4 letter and no response from NVC about my expedite request if approved or not .. I sent email to the embassy to ask and they sent to me that my interview is on 11 apr and they asked for only 5 documents?!they didnt ask for marrige certificate noor AOS form .. but im taking them incase...

Isnt that weird that I havent recieve a case complete letter no P4 letter no response for my expedite request even the checklist letter wss sent after my documents left NVC ! Do you think its because of the expedite every thing got mess up??!

As I unberstood from reading in this thread that if my appointment is befor 15 Apr I dont need to update my AOS bot bring with me 2014 taxes just incase ?

I was really surprised that my interview is on 11 Apr Im so excited!

Not real helpful here. No timeline no Case Complete date. Why are you posting to us? Were you an expedite is this why your petition was sent to the embassy straight away?

scan date :24 nov

checklist for birth certificate :13feb by spaeking with NVC email for checklist arrived after one month.!

applyed for an expedite on 1st march

4th march: cc Affidavit of support fee changed to N/A

5th march : my status changed to In transit

11th march : Ready:)

this was a really long journey I will add it to my timline

So my document arrived at the embassy last week and my status says Ready and till know I didntnrecieve the P4 letter .. at NVC they told me as soon as they arrive I should schedule an interview ..

I have a question conserning domicile part .. my wife left USA since she was 6 she doesnt have any sort of proof of domicile ..we are together from two years .. and shes a student of full time at university. Im goinig to stay at my joint sponsor's -which is my friend- house while I can rent one .. any ideas what should I say at the embassy for the domicile part?

Congratulations. Did you request a expedite? The N/A's mean Case Complete. The In transit means you have been scheduled a Interview and have been shipped to the embassy. I would be looking in my email box for the P4 letter.

yes I did apply for an expedite bcs I had a checklist.. today I recieved a cover sheet for the checklist .. Ithink my cc is not affected bcs i read befor another persone got a cc then recieved a checklist ??!

Is it real that if i dont have my vaccination record at the medical examination the visa perocessay be delayed?
