  1. APPROVED!!!!

Got to the embassy 6:30am, was out 10.00am. Interview was less than 2mins, and only 4 questions asked.

    1. Who is inviting you to US?

    2. How long did you first see each other?

    3. What year did you marry?

    4. When did she travel to America?

After answering all the questions, he handed me 2 white sheets, saying I should pick up the visa in a circled location in 2wks time, and the other saying I should pay my green card fee after which I can then travel to the US. It wasn't as tenzed as I thought it would be.

Thanks to all of you for your help and support. This forum is really a good preparer.

    Wow! That's good news. Congrats!
  2. Husband came yesterday!!! The waiting from when he took off from India to him walking out of that terminal here in DFW seemed like forever! I'm on cloud 9! He said POE at DFW was very easy took about 5 minutes...if that. Waiting for his luggage is what took longer. He landed at 2:57pm and was out by 4:01pm.

Congrats girl! Wow! So happy for you and hubby. Enjoy your life together

  4. Hey everybody sorry been absent through the weekend. Had to make the trip to families village to be with the In Laws and siblings to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary on Sunday. And to tell the news "WE ARE APPROVED".

That was hard for my husband to tell his momma that he is now moving to US at end of June.

I'm heading back to US after 6 months here on Friday.

    So how is everybody. :goofy:

Your journey is victorious. Welcome back sis.

  6. Had our interview today at the London embassy.... My husband had an interview with a person who was very difficult to understand due to her accent (she was Chinese). He thought she said approved, but apparently said refused :( because she handed him back his passport and a colored slip that said "your visa application has been refused under section 221G of the immigration.... you may be able to overcome the 221G pending: submission of additional evidence. This evidence is: Passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the expected date of entry into the U.S.

He said he tried to give her the passport back but she wouldn't explain why she wouldn't take it... his passport is valid until 2025. I'm so confused and upset about this. He lives far from London and didn't realize this mistake until he was on the train back home. He said she was very forceful and wouldn't let him ask questions, apparently he was rushed out of the embassy. It was raining outside so he didn't get a chance to look at the papers until he had gotten on the train. I don't understand how or why this happened. Obviously his passport was valid (it was the same passport we submitted to the NVC). I'm really upset that they didn't even hear him out or try to explain why they thought it was invalid. Has anyone heard about this happening before??? He said he thought she said approved because she had a big smile on her face. I'm pretty bummed about this :(

I am so sorry to hear about your interview. Email the Embassy right away and asked what the problem is. Please keep us posted. Remember God always makes a way.

Yes Q-Life is 5 to 6 days. Children's is 3 days. Almost there.

    Thank you Dwheels

  7. My husband has an interview scheduled!!!!! June 17th!!! :dancing::star::dance:

I can't believe it!!! That light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. I didn't think we would get an interview towards the middle of the month like that especially since our CC was towards the end of the month.

God willing, all goes well and my wonderful husband will be here with me by our one year anniversary!!!! Now i'm praying all goes smoothly between now and through the interview. (L)

Wow! I am so happy for you Linjoe you truly deserve it.

    Good luck on your interview.
