Me and my wife recently got our immigrants visa. We had our child born while we were going through AP, hence he didn't got the visa. We contacted US consulate and they started his process and we filled the ds260 and waiting for next step. Would he be asked to attend the interview physically since he is only 10 months? Would both parents had to come?

not yet, my status still says ready. dont know why AP was long, may be bcoz i was in middle east

my wait was 18.5 months

when did you submit your passport after the status changed to ready from AP? did the consulate contacted you to submit it?

Our status on CEAC Status Tracker says ready after a long administrative processing for immigrant visa in Montreal Canada. Whats the next step they will ask us to do and how long will it be for them to take the next step? Will they send an email to send our passport or do I just send it immediately?

Is it possible to change the location of biometric appointment? My case is in under AP in Montreal, Canada and they sent me an email asking to attend the bio-oath appointment without mentioning the location where to go. So I want to know if i can get this done in Toronto US consulate instead of Montreal.

How long does it take for them to acknowledge the documents received once its delivered to US consulate in Montreal Immigration Unit? My case was in AP for 1.5 years and last month requested for an updated police records, medical, DS206. Loomis tracking says its delivered last Monday and documents were received/signed by Marliou. I inquired online through public inquiry form onTuesday and they said they didnt received it. I contacted Loomis on phone/email for inquiry and they confirmed it was delivered and Marilou signed it. A week passed and I inquired today and they said they still hasnt received it !!

our case is in AP processing for 10 months. the case used to get updated once in 2 months, but since last week its udpated daily. do i see the light at the end of tunnel?

through employer - employment based immigration. i commute to work daily to usa and live in canada

And sponsor our child after AP complete and we got our green card?

How long does it take to sponsor our child when we are on GC. I know its pretty quick when you are US citizen.

CRBA is for US citizens, neither me or my spouse is us citizen and we dont live in USA
