we did get a notification that they mail our card on 8th.

Hope to get a notification this week too. We just cross 4 weeks mark three days ago.

I got an update today that my card has been mailed to me as of today. Goodluck to everyone else waiting!

So yesterday I got 2 messages, first one said Card was Ordered and second message a few hours later said Case was Approved. Yet we got approval May 6th. Is this just a normal change of events?

I believe your card went for production. Hope will get the same massage because we had approval since the 5th and received welcome letter around 10th. since then nothing happened.

I went to the infopass for the 551 stamp. The officer asked for the passport and I485 apptovsl notice. Then said they don't stamp 551 for pending GC cases as such. He asked what was the urgency. I told him we had to get some legal paper done and had travel scheduled for that.

He then said let me check and went inside. Came back after 5 min and said he and give them stamp for 60 days and that was fine for our travel. After 15 min, he gave us the passports stamped.

He did not ask for any other documents, travel itinerary or photographs... Just the AOS approval notice.

He also mentioned there was some issue with the reading of fingerprint data that was causing the GC delays and said he can see that they have sent the request and we should receive it in 30 days.

This make so much sense. I hope they will fix, or I will ask for info pass too. It will be a month end of this week since we got the approval.

60 days? That seems excessive! My notice says 3 weeks, does yours? I'm going to call them on Thursday to give the post office a grace period due to Memorial Day.

All notice said 3 weeks, but when you reviewed the one provided by USCIS officer during approval interview, it mentioned that you will received GC in 3 weeks, contact us after 60 days.

Same here since May 5th approved, no GC yet. Grrrrrrh

We're on the same situation, Wife GC was approved on spot on the 5th, we received the welcome letter on 9th and since then no changes on status. I called USCIS and the officer said wait for 60 days before infopass.

It's pain.

Well I successfully moved across country to Georgia from Colorado, that was a journey! For the past 5 days we've been arranging our belongings, buying/building furniture and generally making our apartment look like home. I think at the end of today I can safely say that it's feeling like our home. It's pretty exciting, we even survived IKEA furniture building without divorcing one another!

Changed my address with USCIS, but old address is the parents-in-law so still ok to receive mail. June 1st will be the 3 week mark from my approval date and still no green card in sight. Not sure what's happening there, hopefully the post office didn't screw up again like it did with my EAD card last year.

We do have the same case as you're as far as waiting for GC. We were approved on spot on the 5th and we received the notice like the 9th, since then nothing have changed. I called them last week and they said we should wait 60 days before infopass. I hate that waiting part :-(

any update on Houston

The latest processing time stated As of 31st Dec 2015 they are processing case prior 23rd June 2015. But my PD is 2nd June 2015 has not been scheduled yet. I did a series of case request and USCIS told me make INFOPASS to discuss with my local office. Unfortunately, INFOPASS for my local keep telling me no INFOPASS at that time. Is there anyone have the same issue?

This one worth a fight, defense attorney are not cheap but you need who knows his ABC. denying to Blowing a breathalyzer is not a criminal in many states, if they didn't take your blood test during admission in jail house, then you need to get a good lawyer. Thank you my friend! You are so right! My attorney has no clue how immigration process works and I had to tell him whats going on and what kind of deal would benefit me!!! He told me that he wants to work a deal out with the prosecutor/ DA and try to get me deferred prosecution so that the case will be dismissed after complying with what the court wants me to do! So, I did my research and I found that there are 2 types of deferred prosecution sentences, One of them does affect immigration and the other one does not! From what I understod is that as long as I dont admit guilt or/and put on probation, I should be fine! I told my attorney if you cant get me a deal without pleading gulty, then I have no choice but to go to trial!

Did you went for N-400 interview? If yes, that is fine. If you haven't not go to the interview this can be a problem.

I have my fair share of legal problems. Here is my advise, if you differed it, you have to disclosed it and let the officer make a judgement on it. I can assure this unless you will chose to not disclose it and let have a chance, but if you disclose it will bite you.

I did went with arrest record, mine was PI during college days plus fight with a cop i was young and stupid back then. She asked me about what happened in 2006 and i explained to her exactly and i said i paid the price for the mistake, I quit drinking and I fear God. She said things happened and approve my document.,

for anyone who came here younger they know you did some stupid stuff, what matters is what happened after that.

I get there around 8:40, by 9:00am my name was called. The interview was straight to the point take about 15 mins, then the lady told me to wait for the oath letter. The oath is next week.

I am hoping, the whole process is very frustrating. I have been inline since July 10, 2014. I hope this thing will end, so we can all continue with our daily mojo.

So, I called USCIS yesterday, asking if I can speak with tier 2 personnel, after holding for an hour and 20 mins finally the supervisor get on the phone. I mentioned to her that I filed in June 15, 2014 and since July 10, the status shows line for interview. She said let me check what is going on in Houston, and she said the problem is in Missouri where they're processing Houston files. She mentioned that Houston office asked for my file 3 times but no response from MO. In end the she mentioned that she will send an inquiry and I will hear from them in 10 days, so am counting days now.
