  1. You need to provide an I-134 with an original signature. All the other supporting documentation can/should be copies.

Are you needing to use assets? Why would you need to provide different account numbers and such? You really only need to provide your most recent tax transcript, or complete copy of your return with all forms, schedules, W-2s and/or 1099s, plus proof of income with a letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs. If you need to use assets because you do not meet the income requirement, then you would need to provide proof of ownership and net value.

quick question. I haven't done my 2014 tax return yet. Can i give my 2013 or do i need to file my 2014 ASAP?

  2. Ok I received NOA1 notification by text and email on Jan 12th. 17 days later i still have not received it in the mail and no NOA2. I thought the recent trend for CSC was the NOA2 was taking 2 weeks after NOA1.

I looked up our case on USCIS website and there are no new updates and i noticed it said that once i get the NOA1 in the mail that i should follow instructions in the notice.

    My two questions are

    1. how long did it take you guys to get your NOA1 in the mail after it was received?
    2. What instructions are in the NOA1?

    Thank you,

    Greg

  3. I'm the sponsor and i'm asked if i lived outside the US for more than 12 months.

I first answered yes. I was living in Indonesia for almost two years. My helper told me that yes i have to put down any international address that i lived for at least 12 months straight. When i was living in indonesia i had to exit the country every month. I'd fly to Singapore and then fly back the next day to get a new tourist visa. The longest i stayed consecutively was 6 months. When i told my helper that, he changed his mind and said i do not have to answer yes to that question since my longest stay was 6 months.

So technically i was living outside the US for over 12 months but i never stayed in any one country for 12 months straight. Anyone advice? While living in Asia, I retained my permanent address in the US.

    Thank you

  4. It's asking if i applied before. I applied for a spousal visa in 2009. I do not remember the following....

    • Date i filed
    • Alien #
    • City i filed

My wife an i split up before the interview stage. The only record I have is from the US Dept of State National Visa Center. It was a Letter addressed to my wife with the subject FINAL NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF REGISTRATION.

    It states the following

    NVC Case #

"The office previously notified you that as of 25-Aug-12 your registration for an immigrant visa was cancelled and any petition approved on your behalf was also cancelled. We informed you that your application might be reinstated if, within one year, you could establish that your failure to pursue your immigrant visa application was due to circumstances beyond your control.

Since you have failed to do so, the record of your registration and any petition approved on your behalf and all supporting documents have been destroyed; any Department of Labor certification has been returned to your prospective employer."

I don't know how to fill it out since i don't know the date file, her Alien #, the city i filed, and the status of that application. What would i put for result? Cancelled? and how can i find the other three items above?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
