thanks i submitted in august 2014 so it took 8 months 10 days to get my interview hope the way they moving gonna get u shorter time good luck and u will have time to get ready before the interview

Congrats. still got couple of months of waiting.

thanks hope u wil get approve at the interview

  2. i had my interview today and the IO was so nice she asked to confirm some information on the i 485 proof of relationship and how we meet ,she was like she wanted to get done with the interview she kept some evidence and my i94 and told me aim gonna get the result of the interview on the mail in 3 to 4 weeks and everything look ok but they need to check if anything comes up the interview lasted about 15 min .its looks like all iO was speeding to get their interview done quickly so any dallas filers get ready for some quick interview .after 3 hours later i got the email saying on april l 21 ,2015 we ordered your new card aim so glad that i didn't have for weeks i wish everybody to get their green card for dallas filers

  3. I am wondering if there is anyone who filed late 2014/2015 in Dallas.

I would like us to meet up and talk about the estimated interview times.

I really feel that the Dallas office takes too long.

    Here is my timeline.

    November 12, AOS packet sent

November 17, Notice of Action Received

    December 11, Biometrics appointment

    February 5, EAD received

Nothing has changed since I received my EAD

the waiting is 8 month plus just hang tight

  4. My wife and I were in the same boat. Our online status said that if we did not receive a notice by Nov 28th, to submit a e-request. So I sent that request in, was given a receipt no,, but didn't hear anything further.
I ended up calling USCIS yesterday and was told that my request has been "was assigned to an officer for response" and we may not hear anything for another 6-8 weeks. Sounds crazy sketchy to me..

i did my request almost month ago and i called yesterday they told me to call next week for probably another one but i believe the interview notice depend on your local office how busy or slow they are like aim in dallas they have a crazy backlog so no matter what aim gonna have to wait that they process people who filed before me i think i still got to wait for between 2 or 3 more month cuz on the average people who filed before me waited almost 8 months to get an interview. i guess u from queens the processing date for i485 :they interviewing april 2014 filer that is good mean that u will get your interview in a month or 2 or even earlier. alway keep calling and requesting good luck!!

  5. during the waiting time for the EAD card, has the status changed to :initial review or did stay at acceptance? My time line is:

    August 22 got a NOA

    September 18th did bio

    Waiting on EAD and interview

this is I- 485 concurrent filing. Adjusting status from F-1.

mine was always in initial review tili sep 24 saying card production straight and i got my card on oct 2. i think u can also make a phone call so they can look into your case.... my i-485 was in acceptance from the beginning till oct 14 after i made a phone call that day it change to interview and testing on 15 oct so it always good to try good luck to you!

  6. Hi bosstx,

I am a Dallas filer. I don't have very good news for you. Dallas is extremely backed up right now. If you look at previous months, people who filed in February and March 2013 are just now getting their interviews in October and November 2013. There is a eight month delay, so, unless Dallas gets their stuff in order, you are probably looking at interview sometime in March/April 2014. Sorry to be the bearer of the bad news.

When I was at the Dallas field office this month for my interview, they told me that they've been hiring new officers to help with the backlog. Hopefully that addresses the backlog situation.

My case got expedited for military reasons. If you are a military family and if your spouse is deployed, I suggest pursuing an expedite through the military hotline.

    Best wishes to you

i really appreciate your feedback, hopefully they will fixe the backlog as soon as possible .i guess i will be patient and see whats gonna happen thanks!
