My fiancee and I are not married yet. So, we are going to fill out the Social Security Card form. My only question is this, on number five, do I mark Legal Alien allowed to work or legal alien NOT allowed to work

Our case was processed in three months total, from the date I mailed to the approval interview date. Soooo, I had planned my church ceremony in May, hoping he would be here by then. So, we have decided to just legally get married to satisfy the 90 day rule and will still hold the true ceremony and reception in May.

Not sure if anybody will see this BUT, it list guidance and counseling forms to take with you to the course. What are they? OR is it something they fill out there. I am going to have my fiancé attend the day before his visa interview to hopefully speed things along.

I hope I am understanding this correctly but my NVC case status says in transit which means.... that it is on its merry way to the Philippines???? I hope so because I have already starting praising GOD and doing my happy dance!!!! Go ahead, if I am wrong, tell me. I would rather be corrected and know more accurately what the NVC statuses mean than have false hope!!!

I could be wrong but from my study you need approximately $240 (or a little more) that you have to pay before the interview and you cannot make the interview until you pay it through BPI. Then, you will need $265 (or a little more) for the medical exam. Also, I think the CENOMAR and the NBI cost a little but not much. I went to the embassy and visaconnection.com to print the information of what exactly will be needed to complete everything. none of this is included in the $340 you paid to the USCIS. Hope this helps.

Wow that is ridiculous! We received our NOA2 on 10/27 and the NVC received our packed on 11/6 and had our case number on 11/7....currently in transist as of 11/11......I think if you call back in a couple of days they will have your case number! Best of luck....this process is so painful...wishing you the best!

It is difficult and I am definitely working on patience,. I am praying hard that he will be here before the end of the year!!! It seems possible, Philippians 4:13!!! All the best to you and our fellow hopefuls!!!

Today is our 4th Week of NOA2 anniversary (NOA2 October 15), called NVC still they didn't get our files. The guy on the phone told me to wait 35 after NOA2 to start calling.

How about you guys?

My NOA2 is 10/24/14 and I just called that 603 number and they said it was received today but that it could take up to 45 days to get it in the system and give me a number. I certainly hope not that long but they kept telling me days before that it could take up to 30 days for them to receive the original information. Hopefully yours was in that pile. Mine came from CSC.

My mother in law is trying to bring her son over through an F2A. He turns 21 in April and his priority date is in Sept 2013. Does anybody know what will happen if he does NOT get his interview before he turns 21?

Praise the Lord!!! Just got my text/email that they mailed my NOA2!!! Received my NOA1 on 10/3/14. Any suggestions for the stuff to go out so it will continue to move fast without any hiccups the rest of the way??!!

I was wondering where you got this information?? I have filed for my fiance in the Philippines and according to this, it looks like they are working on 8/22/14 but according to some October filers, they have already received their NOA2. Was hoping things were moving quickly but it seems to be hit or miss.
