Yes, they're being expedited due to the typhoon last year. They get noa2 at warp speed (seemingly almost always less than a month) while others wait for 6+ months. Not sure as I'm new to this journey, but I've read others say that k-1 wasn't supposed to be one of the expedited visa types, but uscis is definitely treating it as such. As you've already figured out, it can be a sore subject for filers from TSC states where the wait for noa2 is currently 6 months.
I saw the TSC processing times. My Petition got to USCIS today and I assume that it will be processed by CSC since I live in California, but will know for sure soon. I knew about the typhoon, but didn't know they were expediting visa's because of it.
I feel the frustration of my fellow filers. Seems like TSC is much slower. Sorry for that, but excited that things may go quicker for her and I.
Thanks for the info

I've seen some general comments about the Philippines, but I don't really follow. Most are in regard to K1 processing. Are K1's for Filipino beneficiaries processed at a different pace than other countries? Faster, slower? I'm very curious, since my girl is there. Any insight would be appreciated.

Congrats on that. My petition hits the USCIS today and so my countdown begins. Trying to stay positive and it sure helps to hear stories like this!!

My Petition is on its way to the USCIS in Texas. I live in California. Can I assume that the CSC will process my petition or will it depend on other factors?

I had the best 2 weeks of my life. The chemistry was incredible. I am using RapidVisa to handle the paperwork and my petition was sent on January 2nd. I am going back to see her next month.
Thanks for the replies. I follow as much advice as I could and got receipts and pictures of everything. I met her parents and siblings and got plenty of pics of those as well. I see Ralph and Patrick got an interview in 3 months. That's awesome. I hope ours goes that fast...

I actually posted this question before I realized that I could read the entire process here. Thanks for the replies. Can't wait to see her next month.

We have been Skyping for months now and I finally booked my flight to Manila and will see her on November 22nd. We already plan for her to come here as soon as possible, so I was wondering if I should start the process now since it will take 5 or 6 months??
Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks,
Derek

Yes, it most likely will go to CSC. I live in CA too and that's where mine went. That's a good thing, since CSC is processing them fairly fast. We got her interview date in 61 days from our NOA1.
