we are in the same process, filing AOS for me and my daughter. i am going to make two plastic folders, one for me (K1) and another for my child (K2).

in my childs folder i am putting: i 485, i 864 (copy of K1's ) without W2 and Tax return, passport copy, visa copy, i 94, birth certificate with translate, vaccinations copy and photos. i will put both plastic folders in one mailing folder+ fee check+ cover letter

yesterday i got call from embassy, they told "we finished to work on your visa"....i asked surprized: finished in positive or negative way? she answered- why it must finish in negative way! So she asked me to bring passports in embassy, i run the same day. Ceac shows ISSUED! i hope to get it Monday. So i thank all persons who answered on my questions, and i wish to all who is waiting for their visa to get similar call!

when i check NON IMMIGRANT with application ID, it says creation date 4 January 2015

when i check IMMIGRANT with NVC number- creation date is 4 December 2014

But my interview was 18 February

Ready doesn't mean approved, only ISSUED

i got NVC case number , check it and it tells only READY... our NOA2 expires 9 March

i have not received packet three or any other, when my petitioner called to NVC about their approval, they told that it is approved and sent to embassy and that i can schedule interview day. i will ask my fiancee to call to NVC again to know our case number. if its impossible to check status with application ID, then why it tells to write it? and when i write app.ID it shows when is created case

it tells- NVCcase number or DS-160 ID. I use application ID because i dont know NVC case number. Ceac shows case creation date but no update

Hello, everyone !

I have had K1 visa interview a week ago, they gave me 221(g) form with marked "administrative processing", gave me passport back, but kept our chats and pictures. Now when i check my visa status, it tells always NO STATUS! i put right "Nonimmigrant" category. what can it mean? that they never update it?

i think your fiance can go to Townhall and ask for Non impediment, if they dont give her it, then you are 100% married...so restart to apply for spouse visa!
