Got our 18 month NOA letter yesterday. Interested to see how long it takes for the actual extension letter to arrive. As Patbaha said, the letter we received is just a courtesy letter to tell you the official letter is coming.

Have any of us March 2018 filers confirmed their $680 check has been cashed by USCIS yet? My package was received March 2nd and my check hasn't been cashed yet. Just curious if others here are the same. I'll update the excel tracer in the notes section once my check is cashed just as a data point for others...

Got them on Amazon!

The dates are all part of our exhibit F, which is all of the trips and events we've been on/to since we were married. (airfare, hotel, car rentals, concert tickets, photos, etc. all separated by trip date.)

Hi Folks,
We submitted our I-751 to the CSC last week and it was signed for 'as received' on March 2, 2018. Here's a few pics of what we submitted which fit perfectly into a USPS medium flat rate priority box. We learned a great deal from this website over the years since we started the K1 process and the I-751 preparation was made a lot easier with the help of many people here at VisaJourney!
Thanks,

CEAC now shows our case as "Ready" and the header reads, "Non-Immigrant". Case creation and status update both read Sept 1, 2015. It also says we should check back on our status in 2 business days!
Here's hoping we're through!
-
They touched the case on their own. If no update by tomorrow my attorney will be emailing them Wednesday to request the status, having passed the "15 business days".
-
CEAC updated our case status today (August 31, 2015) meaning they "touched" the case today, but that's it.
-
Once on Aug 14th and again on Aug 19th and that's it.
-
Our 221g hasn't updated since Aug 19th. 15 business days expires end of the month for us.

Hi Rossalin,
I'm curious why you had to return to the Embassy for a second interview? I've never heard of anyone having to go back for a second interview!
Did you receive a 221(g) form asking for more "proof of relationship" after both the first and second interviews? What happened at the end of the second interview?
-
As of today CEAC website for our case shows:
U.S. Department of State
IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATIONAdministrative ProcessingImmigrant Visa Case Number: BNK2015______ BNK Case Creation Date: 19-May-2015 Status Updated Date: 19-Aug-2015 -
Shauneg, how does it changes from immigrant to non-immigrant? In other words, are you referring to the CEAC website where you choose, "Check my visa application status"? At this point our K1 case is in AP and can only be checked by choosing ""Immigrant" - Check my visa application status". Once this changes to "ready" I will then need to look under "Non-Immigrant" - Check my visa application status in order to check on the status?
Many thanks!

My Orawan got the same woman in booth 5 today. Very unfriendly and clearly on a power trip. We received a 221(g) today for more relationship info as well even though very little of the interview surrounded proving our relationship. I could understand the request for more relationship info if the ### in booth 5 had asked numerous questions regarding our relationship and Orawan had no reply, but that wasn't the case. Stupid...

Congrats to you both Brett!
I wish you both all the best. My Anne has her interview at 10am, same day (10pm tonight here in Austin). Praying for both girls to get through this!

Great information in this thread. Our TSC case was approved May 6, 2015 via email and then I received the written notice in the mail on May 8th (NOA2). On May 11th, late in the evening CST I received an email from USCIS stating that our case has been transferred to the Department of State for visa processing. I was wondering how long I should wait before calling for the NVC case number and I think I'll wait until late next week based on this thread info.
I'm also curious why USCIS sent our case to the Department of State rather than the NVC? My understanding is that the NVC falls under the control of the Department of State however the USCIS email I received on Monday also stated, "For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State".
Thanks,
Erik.

You're not the only one left waiting. Our K-1 NOA1 was received June 16th, 2014. On October 8th it was transferred to "Our local USCIS office for processing", whatever that means. No movement since then.
Sent a request for status to USCIS on Feb 13th and received reply, "USCIS will review and process the request expect a reply by March 7, 2015".
-
Miter, our K-1 petition was received June 16, 2014 and is still pending. Can you advise how many K-1's you show as approved, rejected, RFE, pending, etc during that time frame?
Many thanks!
-
Hey Brett, is there a formal "overdue petition" type form that I should use with the USCIS?
Thanks

We're June filers here (NOA1 June 16, 2014) and still waiting. Last update on the USCIS website was October 8th, 2014 and it still reads the same today, "On October 8, 2014 your case was transferred to a local USCIS office".
Once the USCIS website updates next month I'll be able to start questioning the status with the local USCIS office....
USCIS subtle change on case status website
in US Citizenship General Discussion
Posted
Did anyone else notice today the subtle change to your case status on the USCIS (my.uscis.gov) website? When I checked our case yesterday (and many days prior) there was a field that read, "Estimated completion: May 2020", and today that field is gone. Now it reads, "Submitted on ........" only. No estimated completion date.
