  1. Hi Folks,

We submitted our I-751 to the CSC last week and it was signed for 'as received' on March 2, 2018.  Here's a few pics of what we submitted which fit perfectly into a USPS medium flat rate priority box.  We learned a great deal from this website over the years since we started the K1 process and the I-751 preparation was made a lot easier with the help of many people here at VisaJourney!

    Thanks,

  2. Shauneg, how does it changes from immigrant to non-immigrant? In other words, are you referring to the CEAC website where you choose, "Check my visa application status"? At this point our K1 case is in AP and can only be checked by choosing ""Immigrant" - Check my visa application status". Once this changes to "ready" I will then need to look under "Non-Immigrant" - Check my visa application status in order to check on the status?

    Many thanks!

  3. My Orawan got the same woman in booth 5 today. Very unfriendly and clearly on a power trip. We received a 221(g) today for more relationship info as well even though very little of the interview surrounded proving our relationship. I could understand the request for more relationship info if the ### in booth 5 had asked numerous questions regarding our relationship and Orawan had no reply, but that wasn't the case. Stupid...

  4. Great information in this thread. Our TSC case was approved May 6, 2015 via email and then I received the written notice in the mail on May 8th (NOA2). On May 11th, late in the evening CST I received an email from USCIS stating that our case has been transferred to the Department of State for visa processing. I was wondering how long I should wait before calling for the NVC case number and I think I'll wait until late next week based on this thread info.

I'm also curious why USCIS sent our case to the Department of State rather than the NVC? My understanding is that the NVC falls under the control of the Department of State however the USCIS email I received on Monday also stated, "For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State".

    Thanks,

    Erik.
