Interview on June 3rd, Santo Domingo embassy; husband got approved.
-
No, lawyers cannot do this. The time-frame depends on # of petitions, etc. Two years ago a friend of mine got his visa in 5 months, today, same petition, same service center, same embassy, it's taking 9 months (in my case).

My case closed on May 06. I still dont have an interview date yet for Dominican Republic. I seen some people on here who have already recieved there interview dates for the DR with case closed around same time as me.
June interviews were given at the end of April, so I guess your interview date is coming at the end of the month for July.

Servicios Médicos Consulares in Santo Domingo was $150 plus $71 for vaccines (with no vaccines record).

I didn't include one and had no problem guess I was lucky, lol.

Wow thanks so much nali!!! ? sorry I didn't get the photocopy part, am I sending additional stuff? What photocopy am I sending
you are very welcome.
You are not sending additional stuff, the photocopy part relates to all the documents: you are not required to send originals, but photocopies, i.e. instead of an original birth certificate, a photocopy.

Espero haberte ayudado.

The envelope containing your medical examination forms. This envelope you must hand to the doctor unopened. (What letter? We never got an unopened envelope and we already did medical appointment?)
Did you schedule for pick up? If not, you should call and ask them if they will send it to the consulate/embassy.
6 - MARRIAGE TERMINATION F (Mine or His? I have been divorced he has not, this is his first marriage) Yours because he has never been divorced before (did you submit it with your I-130 petition?
7 - COURT RECORDS F (Never had court records)
F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE Y
9 - MILITARY RECORDS F (Non Applicable)
10 - NETHERLANDS POLICE CERTIFICATE J
FEE PAYMENT $
PHOTOGRAPH Y
F - PETITIONER MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE F (How is this different from the above Number 5 marriage certificate?) N/A to you because yours is a spouse application
F - PETITIONER BIRTH CERTIFICATE F (I had to send mine, didn't I? I'm confused) N/A to you --only to bother/sister petitions or children/parents -

Just to be on the safe side, take all the docs (originals with copies) you sent to the NVC to the interview. You never know because some agents look for the stupidest excuse to deny you lol.
The VAC is the Visa Application Center, located in Santo Domingo (Galeria 360 Mall). You have to make a profile and appointment online before the interview. Fingerprints and photos will be taken (it's really fast):
https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/?language=English&country=Dominican%20Republic
the applicant should bring:
passport
ds-260 confirmation page
appointment confirmation page (from their website)
appointment letter

DWheels, or anyone else...this was in my p4 letter don't know why. We have nothing to do with Cuba...I'm clueless! Ever seen it before or have any ideas? Code V just says to go to this page & follow instructions which talks all about Cfrp programs & interviews & such.
Cuban Family Reunification Parole (CFRP) Program Interviews
================================================================================ Go to the Required Visa Interview Documents and Document Status Code Definitions section of this letter and view code V.
I got the same thing, but it does not apply to us.

People...I am so scared!!! Seen a member "Mahsam" of SD April 17 got a checklisted for 2014 taxes, well we did not have a checklist asking for them, we had only 2013 taxes. What to do? Do we call to find out about ours? Aaarrrggghh!!!! We are Apr 20 Scan date.. Anxiety has started cripping in..
Did you get a cc? or did you get a checklist and April 20 is your new scan date? if so, you are OK. But if April 20 is your scan date, most likely they will ask for 2014 taxes. My SD was April 3 and I used 2013 taxes as most current and got a cc because my SD was before tax due date (April 15).

Hi all,
I used form I-864EZ and got a CC and interview date.
Last year I was a joint sponsor for a family of three and this month they got their visa approved. Now I'm wondering if I have to update from form I-864EZ to form I-864 to include them. They will not be in the USA before my interview date, but I'm not sure if I should include them as part of household size(?).
Any help will be appreciated.
-
Any recent cc's? Anyone? Havent moved from 4/8-9 since 2 weeks.
I've seen 4/20s already.
-
I'm wondering the same thing, but better safe than sorry; so I will be bringing an updated I-864 with the 2014 transcript.

Updated! Grats
thanks!!!

its going to be 2 weeks since we completed DS261 and paid the AOS fee, my IV invoice is not yet generated, Usually how long it will take for it.
Is it ok to send the IV package before the IV fee is paid.??? Is there any covering letter will be generated once we paid the IV fees.
Has your DS261 been reviewed yet? If not, call and ask them to review it over the phone. It shouldn't take that long.
It is OK to send the IV package before the IV fee is paid. Send it with the AOS cover sheet. And send them (AOS and IV documents) together for a faster review---it's taking less than 30 days now!!!
good luck.

Just got off the phone, and I got a CC today

If you sent 1-864EZ and your taxt return form was a 1040, don't be sad. Line 22 is total income on 1040; gross adjusted income (line 4) is only needed if your tax form was a 1040EZ.
I sent a 1-864EZ too, tax form 1040 one year and 1040EZ another year, and I used line 22 (total income) and line 4 (adjusted gross income). Never used line 37 on taxt form 1040.

My brother has been waiting for 3 months, he called the NVC and they said that the Santo Domingo Consulate is not giving CR1 visa interviews now... they don't know why, though.
