    Someone posted an article not too long ago about the Obama administration under Clinton issuing a fatwa against Ghana's energy sector for not playing ball with the U.S. Energy corps. This led to the embassy purposely denying visas to not only energy ministers but anyone associated with Ghana's energy board. I suppose this retaliation has extended toward private citizens. Knowing the retaliatory nature of this administration and their childish behavior, I will not be surprised that this is very well a deliberate act. Nothing else makes sense!

    can it possibly be politics as you were saying?... We are innocent citizens and we dont make decisions on who to run the energy sector of the country...Why would the US punish us for something we dont have control over...We just want to be with our loved ones.....these denials are scary but we will see what God has in store for us.

    Well that looks like you've got an RFE. You'll get a notice in the mail asking you for whatever evidence it is they should want. Sometimes it's something you missed, and sometimes they are silly and lost it.

    am happy and a bit surprise atthe same time because i know we sent everything required of us.

    Anyways we thank God for how far He's brought us..It has been such a long journey...

    Probably in about a week you'll get the hard copy rfe notice. It will explain exactly what they're requesting from you. It will have instructions for sending the documents back to them. If you have any questions about what they're looking for, post it here or create a topic and people will be able to help.

    Once they receive your response back, it's usually just a short time, maybe a couple weeks before you're approved.

    Request for Initial Evidence Notice Was Mailed

    On May 14, 2015, we suspended processing of your case, Receipt Number SRC........., because we need more information from you. Your notice explains what we need from you to resume work on your case. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your request for initial evidence notice by June 13, 2015, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

    If you look at the big thread ''if you've been transferred'' you can see which months the applications were sent in that the USCIS decided to transfer out of TSC and over to CSC. Large batches of persons (so any persons from any state TSC handles) were transferred. If your lawyers office told you what they did, they are not providing correct information. I can recall one person recently who was sent to Vermont, it seems to have been done in error, and they were transferred back to their correct service center.

    In 2013 Vermont transferred I-129 cases over to CSC. This is not the same as our I-129F K1 forms. But yes, they haven't done K1s for quite some time now.

    And I quite agree, makes me feel a crazy desire to go move out to LA. ;-)

    NOA1 is the formal letter that tells you they have received your application, and that they have paid for your application. It also tells you what service center you have gone to and the number to check on your case status at the USCIS website. :)
