I wouldn't try for early walk in for biometrics in Tampa.

They are very busy these days and you are scheduled for 12ve already

I tried to walk in one week earlier for my infopass. Even later in the day, when there were quieter hours they didn't let me in.

I went for my infopass appointment on Friday 31st .

Apparently there was no status change, no updates in their system for me as well . The officer explained it is time between the interview and the letter for scheduling . He said I shouldn't be worrying Judicial ceremonies are not that frequent as regular ones that they have several times a week.

I explained the officer, I will be travelling in November and if they are able to give me the Judicial Oath date, I would have a peace of mind while travelling overseas .

He spoke to clerical staff and they managed to give me a date . My oath will be on December 5th . And I should expect the letter in about 2-3 weeks with a place and the place of ceremony.

So, I would say it takes about 2 months from the interview to get scheduled for Judicial ceremony in Tampa.

I sentN -400 packet on 30th of June . Recieved NOA on July3 rd , F/P done on July 25th. It takes 5 months all together ... Still not bad comparing to other big cities.

Hope get everything done by new year. Passport / DL last name change and SS card change...
