How did you know that your case was already in the embassy? Did you call them or email them? How did they send your packet 3? By post or electronically?

Hello Onago, we called NVC to know our case number, you can check in ceac.state.gov where is your file with the case number, first it shows in transit, that means NVC sends the file to the consulate and later it changes to Ready, then you know it is at the consulate.

Madrid's consulate will send you a letter by post, mine arrived 14 days later I saw the file was Ready in ceac.state.gov

We were approved on 31/7 and the file sent to NVC on 4/08. I am the beneficiary. I live in Barcelona. Have you had your interview already? How was your interview?

Not yet, I sent the packet 3 back on 30/7 and I'm waiting for the packet 4. The consulate in Madrid send them by mail. I hope to receive it soon!!. I live in Valencia

It's three days we tried to call them !!! How did you get in touch with them ? what number did you call?

I've seen your timeline, you should check in USCIS if they have sent your file to NVC, Our file was sent the 29 of June, my fiance tried to call yesterday but he couldn't contact with them, so he tried again this morning and they told him the case number at the second call, he called to this number 603 334-0700, In other threads they say it's better to call at first hour in the morning.

My fiancé called NVC today and we have our case number, they told him it will left tomorrow or monday!!! yoohoooo!!!
