take the IOE receipt #,
put it into CRIS,
and track it there.
if you set up a portfolio account in CRIS, CRIS system will give you almost-real-time electronic notifications when things change.

Done with USCIS for the next 1,5 years! Yeah!Here is my timeline:
ELIS fee paid: 06/16
POE: 06/25
ELIS status: 06/27 "in process" update date changed
08/03 "case received Aug 17th"
USCIS status: 08/03 "card is in production"
ELIS status: 08/25 "card produced"
USCIS status: 08/25 "card is mailed"
Card received: 08/27

I somehow got my case expedited. i sent an email to the nvc in may in regards to the delay and just got a response last week.then when i signed into the nvc it says my case was forwarded to the embassay and the fee paid there. then i just got an email stating the nvc has forwarded my case to the jakarta embassay dated 2 weeks ago. The embassay also sent me an email stating they recieved my i130 approved petition and ready to schedule an interview eventhough i never sent the aos and iv package to the nvc. I emailed in regards of this to the embassay and they said i can bring the i864 to the interview along with the civil documents and pay the aos fee. has anyone else have this happen?

This is rare I think. But you filed the request at the right time before you started sending docs to the NVC, which can delay things.
Did you provide a particular reason for expedite?

I have an IR-5 case (sponsoring a parent of USC) at NVC awaiting interview scheduling. Case was completed couple weeks ago.
Yesterday in the afternoon I missed a call from 603-334-9400. Has anyone experienced this?
When I call the number back it says this is a non-working number of US department of state. I called NVC (which has a very similar number) and they said they have nothing new for me, and don't know who called me or why.
I checked CEAC site today after 2 weeks of not checking, and I finally got 3 N/As. I am the petitioner and the agent on the case.

My case was complete on Jun 19th, and we are waiting on the interview to be scheduled. I checked CEAC site today after 2 weeks of not checking, and I finally got 3 N/As.

The question is whether you are a USC or LPR and subject to US tax laws. If not, then it does not matter. If you are, I would recommend your mother sells the house and send the money to you. However, you must report any amount above around $135K. There is some threshold that a gift from a foreign relative who is not a LPR or USC can send to you without paying a gift tax, but I do not remember the amount. You might want to check the IRS website. My wife sold her apartment in Almaty which she owned, but to avoid any tax complications in trying to figure the capital gains on her property, we just had her mother sell it and wire us the money. It was below the reporting threshold, so I did not worry about that and figure the bank reported the transfer and it was stated as a gift.

Yes, I do! The regular phone reps don't have as much information and have given me incorrect information on more than one occasion.

Supervisor review did not take 30 days. I was waiting on my last document, DS-260 to be reviewed for over 30 days.
I did speak directly to a supervisor on June 17th. After calling 3 times over two days and none were available. On the 17th the supervisor told me she'd handle the case personally.
But when I called on the 22nd the phone rep (not a supervisor) implied it was not that same supervisor that reviewed the case. I don't know who did.... may be it was the first supervisor from June 5th.

asked yo speak with a supervisor and he reviewed my ds-260 over the phone thanks God there was a supervisor available. He said my case was complete. Then 3 hour after called again and asked if my case was complete just to make sure And she said Yes ur case was complete today and waiting for an interview. my ds-260 was 35 days
My case was completed 6/19. 46 days after ds-260.

I have a CC, 46/30 days after last document was received!!! CC date is 6/19/15.
I got the news over the phone yesterday after waiting for 1.5hrs on hold... but it was worth it. They said my case was complete on June 19th. I couldn't believe it! I had to ask twice. The supervisor that I spoke with last week was supposed to call me and let me know the day she reviewed the case... but the phone rep said it was a different person that completed the review.
The first time I was told a supervisor would review the case since it was past 30 days was on June 5th. On June 17th since nothing had been done, another supervisor (Jane) said she'd handle the review, and 2 days later case was reviewed. The phone rep yesterday said it was not Jane that reviewed the case...
Have not gotten the official email yet and CEAC website still shows only two N/As.
Now we wait for the interview scheduling... -
Dwheels, this thread is great and so are you! I do follow a couple others that are similar but I am ok with the information overload.

Scan Date May 18th, i just called NVC and the operator kept my case under supervisor review, told me " it would take max 42 days but it wont take that much " ..
but i think it is definitely going to take almost 20-30 days now........this is so frustrating....its been already 34 days from the original scan date and now this new counter starts from today......
Don't think just because you are past 30 days you got a checklist. Not many people are getting CCs in 30 days lately. My SD is May 4th, still no CC or checklist or review. My case has been with a supervisor for a week now. Should've been more like 2-3 weeks, but when the first supervisor requested the case it went into a limbo so another supervisor had to take over. The second one also told me last week it should be any day now. But I heard that on June 5th also.... and then nothing. I'll believe it when I see it. I do know of another case with SD of May 1st that got a CC a week ago after a week in supervisor review, not checklist. So, let's all hope ours does not take 42 days and this hardware glitch doesn't affect our interview scheduling.

Still waiting for a CC. I turned in my DS260 form May 4th
. Wondering if i should contact a congressman or senator...I submitted mine on May4th too. The IV and AOS packages were reviewed already with no problems back in April, so just waiting on DS-260 now. Still no CC.
FYI, this whole time I was thinking they said 30 days wait to review this but I went back and reviewed the email response I got on May 4th, and it says "up to 30 business days". Today is 32nd business day, so their review is not as late as I thought when counting calendar days. Also " up to 30" is encouraging... one of the NVC phone reps said it would take at least 30.... and supervisor review could take 42... On June 5th, a supervisor told me they were reviewing May 5th's submissions and sholud be done within a week... these people are either clueless or total liers, it's a different story every time you call. Today I spoke to a supervisor and she said it's 30 days, not 30 business days.
I just saw on another forum where someone got their case complete over the phone for May 1st SD... so I hope ours is not too far behind.

I'm on day 41/30, IR5 case. My AOS/IV package has been reviewed end of April. Now only DS-260 is left to be reviewed.
Last Friday I called and talked to a nice woman at NVC. She said, "oh yeah I see it's way overdue. Let me send your case to a supervisor." The week before they had told me it should be complete within a week, so I asked if it was going to take another week for the supervisor to review it. She said it shouldn't take long, and to call back Monday (today). I thought it was unrealistic.. but hey. I think she was just eager to say something nice. Of course, today I called and the case has not been reviewed
and they have no new information or estimates. Has anyboedy else here had their case transfered to supervisor review? And if so, how long did it take for them to review?

Hi Saylin. Your first post says NVC is "open every other business day (Monday-Friday)". I think you meant to say "every bussiness day". "every other" implies they are open mon, wed, fri closed tuesday and thursday. Just wanted to clarify....

Before posting questions, please read the wiki I wrote on the NVC process here. Once you're done, read it one or two more times to really understand it

Ive been checking the IRS website for my transcript too. All you need to do is log in and print it,, but the online transcript page has been unavailable for a few days now. Site maintenance, I believe. I remember seeing the message saying it should be up and running again on Wednesday 5/27. Check back tomorrow!
IRS transcripts website got hacked and they have the online transcripts temporary disabled. You can currently only get it via mail.

I think I used the NVC case number. You will also need the Alien number, also called A#, which is written on a piece of paper given by the embassy after the interview. I had to add a zero in the beginning of my A number because on paper it did not have enough digits. Worked like a charm. On the actual green card they have added the 0 themselves.
