(125% x poverty income (around 27k) - sponsor's income) x 5

This will five me the asset value i should own... What if sponsor's income is zero.. Then equation will be (125% x 27k - 0) x 5 is almost 150$ is this right?

Thanks alot for your replies...can a beneficiary sponsor himself by providing bank statement and vehicle ownership even if we are both o overseas?? And how much asses is the minimum. Petitioner has 0 income. It was all unexpected... And very bad timing

How will NVC know if he has sufficient assets or not. They don't require us to send bank statement along with AOS. And will they know that my sponsor's work is discontinued? I am sure he will find a new job but it might take a while it depends and I am in a hurry.

Hi all,

I am now in preparing AOS package I have a joint aponsor and he already filled I-864 form and i have his 2013 tax return papers. But recently he got fired from work!!! And I haven't sent the package yet. Shall I wait for him till he finds a new job? Or find a new sponsor? Or send the package as long as I have his 2013 tax papers??
