    NOA2 at LONG LAST !!!

    Hello VJ'ers! We finally got the elusive NOA2 on May 18th! The RFE was a request for a divorce decree from over 20 years ago that only lasted 6 months. Since we submitted a copy of my divorce from 7 years ago, we never dreamed they would also need a prior decree from so long ago! I flew out of state, got the info, returned home and sent it right in to CSC.

    Thank you all for your kind support! Now we start the wait for the interview in Bangkok and the final trip to Las Vegas!

    I created a ZIP file for creating a smaller MB pic, and then just uploaded it to VJ on the "edit signature and personal profile page! I hope to see your pics soon!

    Hey Joe,

    Sorry to hear you got an RFE. Touches don't always mean NOA2 unfortunately, but like you said, at least it's being processed now. Hope you can get it taken care of as soon as possible and get that NOA2.

    Thanks to all of you for the words of encouragement! I can not imagine what we could have omitted from our K1 filing,,,,but will know as soon as that RFE letter arrives!? Very frustrating. I sent in WAAAAAY more info than was required, so this is a puzzle for us. I'll let you know what they wanted as soon as I hear anything.

    We received THREE quick "touches" and then today an Email notice that a RFE has been sent via mail. Now I have to wait and see what in the world went wrong. We were sure hoping for good news and then this pops up. On the good side,,,,at least our file is now open and active. I will express mail back whatever they are asking for and hope for the best.

    Hey Pim and Joe,

    I have had two touches in the past two day as well, I sent an email to them, I am hoping that is more than just them responding to that, I hope maybe the email brought their attention to my case being behind or something, wishing us both good luck and keeping our fingers crossedd :thumbs:

    YES------isn't it strange that we finally heard something after we sent an Email inquiry? You know,,,, had we known better, we could have rented a PO Box in the northeast somewhere and filed thru the Vermont Center, and would have our VISA months ago!!!!
