hi guys, been trying to call the office but it doesn't give me an exact direction or even talk to a customer service. How can I change it?

Yes, everyday I am checking my emails inbox and spam. I did email them, and of course it is an automated response saying its for review. I called the customer service and told me its in the embassy on process and just wait the 2go will text me for pick up. They had my details. So how can those forum guros can explain my case? If they were trying to review it based on hypothetically trial and error than intuition, then I'd rather suggest for another interview with my husband because he went home. Some officer adjudicate it faster the customer service said. Its a case to case basis as well. So pertaining to my case, I am under F2A category, sole beneficiary. Everything from the start of filing went smoothly, no RFEs. Income support is greatly enough. Documents are complete. They didn't even bother to asked for any additional docs during my interview. The lady officer said everything is ok, congratulations and welcome to america. Just wait for your visa to be delivered 5-7 days. She gave a a white small piece of paper and phamplet, instructed me to register my address which I did a week prior to my interview.

Some with 221g after complying with it got their visas, mine still nothing to think I have no 221g. Every week I am calling the embassy, which of course telling us to wait, and of course the most convinient thing to say and do.

No, i didn't get any 221g nor asked for any additional docs. been eyeing in my emails too. So do experts in this forum can uplift my spirit regarding this?

How about my status here:

October 3 - Interview. Approved. No 221g.

October 3 - Ready for interview

October 5 - Ready for interview

October 7 - Ready for interview

October 14 - Ready for interview

October 20 - Ready for interview

So please tell me if how and when should I chill in my case? To those forum enthusiasts.

My status was updated today but still ready for interview. i hope nextweek is the hopeful issued.

How long does the CEAC takes to show the update after interview. My wife had interview on 5 october and ceac still shows READY.

the same situation here. mine is over a week in ready for interview status. my interview was in october 3.

Why it took them 8 months to touch your papers? i was thinking if my case will be the same as yours, OMG! its a burden to us for sure. I miss my husband.

i think you will be approved since they didn't tell you any refusal. Just pray. Me Im so stress, thinking after the medical and interview journey, my visa still not coming.

Then it took 8months for AP? me, i think i was approved during the interview, but until now my status in ceac wasn't changed to issued and i still dont have my visa. no additional docs were ask. How do you contact the embassy?

The week is ending and still my status has no progress. I was thinking if I will wait for months or even years, I would probably pull back my passport and apply for a visit visa.

I am disengaging myself in excitement of receiving my visa. So frustrated because I cant be able with my husband the soonest as what we've planned.Which that's the only purpose of our petition, to live and work together in harmony. I would totally understand the delays if we got a 221g, but all the flows are smooth and easy. Some people I knew got their visas in 3-4 days span, also I have the earlier interview date than them. If they say background check, the USCIS did it already for sure, from marriage to criminal records before they made the approvals. The last update of my status was on October 7, nothings follow. So would not be frustrated of this situation? Also I've read in some topics having their cases the same as mine for months and years.

I called the customer service of the embassy this evening, she said my passport is in the embassy. Disregard the ceac status because sometimes its not updating as its supposed to be. She told me to wait, if ever there is additional information to be asked, they will call or send an email.

My own thoughts after the call. Its a case to case basis yes, but maybe depends on who handles the case. Some officer adjucates faster than the other.

Maybe I will just make myself busy at work to divert the anxiousness regarding this process.

You said that you know that every case is different but you kept on comparing you case to others ?. Your still with in the time frame so just relax and keep yourself busy. Worrying wouldn't hasten your visa.
