  1. Hello:

My fiance's visa was ISSUED on August 10, 2015. I understand it can take 7-10 business days to arrive at the Thai Post for pickup.

She went to the designated GSS pickup location today, and they would not help unless she has the tracking number. According the thr US Travel Docs - Thailand website, she only needed to have her ID card to pickup. It did not mention the tracking number.

When entering the passport number in the "passport tracker" It has been saying "Your visa has been picked up" for since 3 days ago. (She did not pick it up -- I am assuming that is when the Thai Post picked it up from the Embassy)

We emailed the Bangkok Immigration Unit asking for the tracking number 3 days ago, but not reply yet.

The Thai Post phone number for the specific pickup location does not work.

    Any suggestions??''

    Thank you in advance!

  2. Hi Everyone:

This is my first post and I did some searching on the site for an answer to my question but it still wasn't clear.

I received the NOA2 int he mail on Feb 28. The notice date was Feb 24. I haven't called yet, but I will start tomorrow. Why is it necessary to get the MNL number prior to the fiance receiving the Packet 3? Some people have said that the fiance can then go ahead and schedule the interview. Others seem to have mentioned that the fiance can use the MNL number to get a head start on the Police Clearance (since it could take weeks to receive back) Some things to add: I am preparing the Affidavit for Support right now as well as some other documents. I will mail the paperwork to my fiance by the end of the week. It usually takes 10-14 days to arrive. The fiance is Thai.

So is there any need for me to get the MNL number and let her know what it is ASAP?

    Also, a quick follow-up question.

I began the K1 process just last month. The I-129F was received (NOA1) on Feb 10. NOA2 was received around two weeks later.............so is there a need to use a new Intent to Marry forms, passport photos, etc?

    Thanks so much in advance.

    Mike
