FINALLY! My I-130 has been approved from TSC! It took 6 months and 8 days, but I received the email at 10:00pm!!!

Let us know how it goes. We are all getting anxious.
Might not hurt to get a Congressman involved at this point since it is past the 5 month mark listed on the website. I was told by the congressmans office that the 5 month period is just a time table for them to get the case "assigned" to a rep, then they have 30 - 60 days to process the application.
It seems like you get a different story from every side.

Your receipt number SRC##########. The last 4 digits represents the order your case was received that day, so mine is in the 7,000's.

Seems like a lot of applications to receive in one day....

Not sure kazz. Received NOA1 receipt on Nov 10th and I have heard nothing yet. Based on the receipt numbers, apparently more than 7,000 were filed the day mine was received.

Anyone else from NJ get their NOA2? I am patiently waiting, every time I check the status of my case I get the "my case was received... please follow instructions in the notice"... but haven't heard anything since then.

What's NBC..Nebraska?
No, NSC is Nebraska which is just as long of a wait as TSC for NOA2.
-
TSC is also down to 170 days for NOA2, I believe it was at 183 days over the weekend.
To look at the bright side, at least we didn't wind up in NBC with their 270 day processing time.

Also from NJ, Nov 12th for NOA1 at TSC. Not sure why all of NJ petitions are going there, wish there was a way to get it transferred to CSC. Not happy about a 6 month wait for NOA2 when CSC is getting it done in as little as 3 - 5 weeks.

She did receive a W2 but it was for such a short time she didn't make enough to need to send them in.
I think it was only a couple weeks part time, this should still be listed on her G325a right?

Hi everyone,
I have done a ton of research and got a lot of questions answered by this site already, but was unable to figure out anything about this one possible situation.
I am looking to file for CR-1 for my wife who was here on a J1 Visa and transferred her status to F1 not too long after. She was issued a SSN with "Valid for work only with DHS authorization" while on J1. During the winter while on F1 status she worked for maybe a month or two at a retail store and used that SSN.
When looking at the G325A form, it requests all employment. I do not know if she had DHS authorization at the time, but the company did not give her a problem to hire her. If she did not have DHS authorization, is it a problem that she was employed briefly? Will this even be checked? What is my best course of action here?

I engaged my congressman at the 5 month mark, I was told by their office that it takes 30 days for TSC to respond. Got approved 33 days after I dropped off the form to their office for them to mail out. Like everyone else, not sure if it helped, but it didn't hurt, and I got approved in the time frame the congressman's office told me I would get a "response" about the status.
