i would actually consider signing up for a twitter account to do a twitter "protest" to say the USCIS needs to be reviewed for performance. It would be even more effect if all the "protesters" used the same written message, to show unity on the opinion.
She is coming from Krasnoyarsk, Russia. You are right there will be a variety of emotions, which is why I thought surprise her when she comes home with something romantic, and thats where I was looking for advise what others did when their fiance arrived. We have talked about that extensively, and will probably travel to Colorado within a few weeks of arriving and get married/elope. As far as keeping her busy, we have talked about taking classes at the local college, English for foreigners, she likes doing art, so maybe an art class, volunteer work, driving classes (fortunately she already has a drivers license in Russia). and find work as soon as possible, since she likes to be a busy body. I've already started setting aside a budget for her to redecorate our bedroom, to buy art supplies for her, and to fix my jeep so she has a vehicle to drive as soon as she gets her license.
