  1. Just wondering if anyone else is Denver based? I am wondering if anyone else is in the testing and interview stage and, how long they have been there? It seems as though the Denver office is pretty far behind. .... Wondering what others' timeframes are looking like? Thanks!

You can always ask for an e-request on USCIS site if you think it has been too long on testing and interview

  2. Just a reminder, people; when you get approved you should write your journey down, I know I can't wait to do mine, kinda of like this: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/456285-aos-from-f1-approved-stokes-interview-passed-ty-vj/

I have my interview on the 18th and after reading that story I got nervous, I really shouldn't be as we have been dating for 5 years, still reading the more complicated ones does make you think if you have all the documents and proof they need.

  3. I just received my combo EAD/AP card too. No interview info given though :( Does that mean I will be interviewed? Also, I read here on VJ that some people had to wait a couple of weeks for their names to appear on the CBP system for them to get a social security number. Did you have any issues applying for one?

I'm curious about this as well. Got my EAD card today and am looking to apply for a ssn# on Monday. I read that you need to bring at least 2 documents providing proof of immigration status. I only have the EAD card as I've yet to get scheduled an interview for a green card yet. Is this enough? What documents did you all bring to apply for a ssn#?

I got my EAD on a Friday and went to apply for SSN on a Wednesday, I used my EAD and passport that was all they asked.

  4. Oh goodness, 148 days, that is very concerning! I'm only going to do a service request for my EAD, since I'm getting close to the 90 day mark, but I will definitely keep you updated. Did you see OKC is now doing January 2014 applications...

Not sure if the processing times are correct for local offices, Norfolk's last case according to the site was early April 2014. I wasn't expecting anything till January or February

  5. Ok sorry to stalk in on this thread, but mine is saying the EXACT same thing (I went to Testing and Interview in October, and it says if I haven't received a letter by November 5th to contact them) - but I wasn't expecting an interview letter until December at the earliest, and no interview until maybe... January. I'm wondering if this is a mistake happening for everyone who is in Testing and Interview with no interview scheduled.

I am inclined to think this is a very poor website fluke and am waiting until tomorrow to see if it resolves itself, but let me know if you find out any different.

Totally not stalking :) but it is weird how the site has changed, I sent a notice request even though I was only expecting something in late November early December, will see what they reply.

  6. That's great news! Did you get an email/text message about that, or did you first see it on your case status online? The reason I ask is because I wonder if it is even necessary for me to check my case status online, or if I should just wait for the emails. I read some people said they never got any emails/text messages after their NOA notifications, even though their case status changed online.

I got my email this morning at 9am then double checked on the status and both of them are the same.
