Checked  couple of websites and almost all applications filed between April 2017 and May 2018 have been called for interview (or the user has not logged in for more than 6 months so probably they are done) except for very few ROC cases. So either they will start calling May 2018 cases in a month's time or there are pending cases for folks who don't register on any website and are not concerned with delay :)

    Let's hope for the best.

Pardon my ignorance Sam but what is a ROC case?

  2. I would take the USCIS timeline with a grain of salt. I had a friend apply in middle of March and he was approved August 9th.

In other news. I received my Biometrics appointment for the end of the month. I am not sure if someone has any experience with this but can you walk into the ASC and if they are not busy they can do the biometrics then. I had this happen during my AOS process. I went to ask them a question and they said if I get them done right there if I wanted. This was in Grand Rapids Michigan though. I have a work conference that is kind of hard to miss so I was wondering if I can do this. Perhaps show up around 3pm or something when they are not busy and request it.

    Has anyone done this?

  3. With all due respect. You said yourself that one needs to prove the bonafides of the marriage. What more proof there is to prove that where you have two biological children. If that isn't prove that the marriage is a legitimate one than the result of it being that having not one but two children.

This was real helpful when we applied for a Green Card. When the adjudicator saw two children she didnt ask a single question about the bonafides of the marriage.

  4. So I am starting to gather copies of documents that I should attach to the n400 application. Please tell me if I need anything else.

    Green card

    Passport

    Marriage certificate

    Spouse's Naturalization certificate

    Spouse's passport

Two beautiful children's US birth certificates and passports

    Taxes (last three years)

Diploma's Associates, Bachelors and Masters all from the US

Anything else that I am forgetting???

  5. Hey Folks!

This website was SO helpful from the time I started my immigration process with filing the I-130. Filing my case in Islamabad and getting the K-3 and finally getting my green card. Now that was a while back and I have been busy pursuing the American Dream and am back as soon it will be time to file US citizenship!

I am going to be eligible to file for US citizenship in mid February want to file the same day I am. Hence started to look into the process and seek guidance from all the wonderful people on here. Thank you for all of your help in advance and best of luck to people who are going through this process!

So my first question to everyone. Is it worth filing my application with the help of a lawyer?

    Here we go again!!!!
