Is it unusual to get a 2nd NOA (Extension Letter)? We filed my husband's I-751 9/17, received the 1st extension (12 months) 10/17, and received a 2nd extension (18 months) 8/11/18. It just seems crazy to be looking at 2 1/2 years to get the conditions lifted.

We finally received my husbands AOS Interview notice for 10/21/15. I have read quite a few posts here, indicating that everyone's list of "Items to bring with you to the interview" is very different. Of course, our list is quite lengthy and seems to include the entire packet already filed on 4/6/15, in addition to the standard proof of relationship documentation. It really looks like they didn't even see the original packet ?!?!

There are two items listed that I am unclear about- 1. All documentation establishing your Lawful Permanent Resident Status. Does anyone know what they are asking for with this? Is it just the rest of the original packet we submitted on 4/6/15? 2. A certified copy of your marriage Document issued by the appropriate civil authority. Do I need to purchase another certified copy for the interview also?

I would REALLY appreciate any thoughts on this

I am really hoping to see some answers to your question! My husbands AOS Interview notice includes all the items we submitted with the I-485. I thought that was a bit odd, since we sent these items in duplicate previously. It also indicates that we should have a copy and the original off all of these items. Is this normal?

I had the same issue with my EAD approval letter. Apparently, the post office returns letters to the USCIS if your name is not on the post box.

We added his name to the post box in April, and received the biometrics letter on 4/12 with no problem. The USCIS site says the post office returned it on 5/9 and 5/12? Looks like I need to re-add him?

My husband and I filed his AOS- I485 and I765 on 4/2/15. We received the biometrics appointment and completed that on 5/1/15. I thought it seemed like a long time for his interview letter and went online to check the case status. Apparently it was returned to the post office for some unknown reason and now we have to wait for another 30 days to receive a duplicate letter

I am in the process of completing the AOS for my husband, who came to the US on a K-1 Fiance Visa 60 days ago. I have noticed at the top right hand corner of the I-864 form, it indicates that it expires 3/31/2015. However, this is the only version available on the USCIS website. Since we are submitting the I-485 Packet on 4/1/2015, I am a bit concerned that this will be rejected. Does anyone know if this will cause a problem?
