  1. Check out the tread below for general information for July TSC filers post NOA2. The portal for your country is also a good source for embassy/consulate specific instructions. The time will move much quicker now - Good luck.

    Congragulation!

What to send to your fiance once the package I 129F is approved ( received NOA 2)

1.A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one). Your fiance(e) should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).2.Send copies of the documentary proof that you submitted with the I-129F for your fiance(e) to have on hand for their interview at the embassy. Your fiance(e) should review this information in advance of the interview (the embassy will have copies of this as well).3.Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).4.I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all.5.You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:

    (A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance

    (B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)

© If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern

    (D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. See this FAQ for more tips and useful information on the Affidavit of Support Form.6.A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail. (backup information; the embassy will have copies of this as well)7.Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, online chat logs (pick several over the prior few months), etc.. from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 until date-now).

Examples: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate emails and letters you have sent including the stamps on envelopes (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

    ------------------

    My experiance is below:

Since you got approved I 129F ( by email): then about 2 weeks later you will receive USCIS mail for NOA 2.

Base on date of NOA2 - within a month your package I 129F will be in NVC office and they continue to deal your I 129F to issue case number.

after 1 month later since NOA 2 date, if you have not receive any information from NVC , you should call them and ask case number of your I 129f , you will be hold for waiting about 15 or 30 mins until NVC officer reply the phone. Or you must call some times until you can reach them. They will ask you " petitioner 's name, your fiance 's name , DOB of both, receipt number - NOA 1.)

When you got case number, your fiance will double check on

    website https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

if your case is " ready"

it means that i 129 f package is on Embassy Office already.

    She will do the next step : apply DS 160 online...print it our ( DS 160 confirmation page);

and choice interview day , after you recieved confrimation letter to enter the next step.

Pls also reference " K instruction from US Embassy in your country.

    Good luck

  2. Hi ,

Your case is K1 visa ? If K1 visa, it will take 30 days after approved date if you have no any news from NVC, you should call them to know the case number. After you know the case no. you can check your case status on website of Embassy , if the case is ready, your fiance will apply DS 160 online , print DS 160 confirmation page and bring it to the bank to pay visa application. After 1 day, you will recieve the email to inform your case is active, then you creation the account number on website of embassy, with the series number in active email, you can book interview day. Good luck !

After you place your interview day, print letter information to take medical test, and having vaccination as embassy 's request.

You should read how to fill DS 160 carefully before you do it.

  3. Hi everyone,

My fiance got case number from NVC officer after 3 times calls. The last call is 30 th days after NOA 2. They asked him to send thier email with full detail of petitoner and receipt #, when he called. The day later ( Nov 18) , he called again then they informed him our case #. They added our package have been sent to consulate in Ho chi minh on Nov 10 which we had no any news until after calling them.

I immediately checked website to know my status , then it, my case was ready for interview ( plused detail : case created on Nov 06 and consulate update in thier system on Nov 13)

I would like recommend you who are waiting until 30 days from NOA 2, pls call NVC and ask your case #.

    Good luck to everybody.

  4. Hi Skywal1964,

Birth certificate of petitioner is needed in both copy and original when your fiance will join into interview at Consular Section in her/his country for getting K1 visa. But as I read in intruction package for K Visa Applicant in vietmam, it also mentioned that " in case you do not have petitioner' s birth cert., the officer will review the case and provide guidance at the interview".

So if you can find it out is is better for your fiance.

    Good Luck!

  5. Dear Rorysspeed,

Thank for your information. I take back this web after near half month, becasue em have been tiredto push my fiance to call NVC again ( after he called 2 times - first call on 28 Oct and second call was Nov 5 ) , the result is NVC people advised my fiance that we should wait at least 30 - 35 days after NOA 2 date.

Then, it is my during waiting time : OCt 17 - Nov 17...still no any news now.

After getting your notes, I know further information that USCIS would garther a sum of packages to send out to NVC. The matter is we don't know when they will send our that group of packages, so we just wait without information since NOA 2 approved.

Wish all cases will reach the final goal soon.

    Good luck to everyone
