  1. I filed an I-130 immigrant visa petition for both my parents about 19 months ago, When I almost got to AOS part my mom decided not to come and live in the U.S ,but my father got the immigrant visa in Pakistan and the case has been completed . It's been more than 9 months since I abondened my mother's case however I never withdraw the case officially. Now my mother and brother just want to come and visit me for few months and want to apply for a visit visa but on the form the above question came up that has anyone ever filed a immigrant visa petition on your behalf? so now in my mothers case shall I say yes or no ? And how should I explain if the answer is yes on the form? Will this create any problem if they find out that the immigrant petition was filed but the case was never completed? Your detailed answer will be greatly appreciated . Thank you

  2. Hi ,I sent all the civil documents required by NVC but then they requested petitioner's birth certificate from NADRA because I had sent them a hospital certificate, and petitioner's and beneficiary's marriage certificates in native language and the AOS because their were some errors in AOS. Anyways, it took me some time to obtain them, but on the very same day when I sent them the original documentsI received an email from NVC that my case has been closed at NVC and not to send any documents to nvc and the beneficiary should take them with him to the interview. Anyways, I called NVC right away but they said they don't know when they will send the documents back to me,it's been 3 weeks but I still haven't received the documents my father has an interview next week I am very anxious and nervous ... Please tell me what to do?

Also, what are some common questions asked at the interview?
