I'll have the Oath Ceremony on June 23rd.

Today I had my interview in Santa Ana office. The appointment was for 12:00PM. I arrived in the waiting room at 11:50AM, and waited until 1:10PM to be invited in by my officer. The whole interview took around 20 minutes. She only asked for my green card, passport, and driving license. In my case, applying after 3 years based on marriage with an US citizen, I was expecting to also ask for marriage license, joint tax forms, etc., but no. She started by going over my N-400 application, asking me questions about my past jobs, if I was working during going to college. I said no, she asked me who supported me, I answered my husband. Everything was very smooth. She also asked me all the questions from the application when you answer with no, like ever been in a communist party, drugs, prostitution, killing, whatever. After this, she asked me the following civic questions:

1. What means the freedom of religion?
2. What ocean is on the East coast?
3. Tell me one state that borders Canada
4. At what age do you have the selective service?
5. How many US senators are there?
6. In what year was the Constitution written?

After that she made me read one sentence from a piece of paper. Then to write another sentence.

At the end, she congratulated me and told me I will receive a letter with the date for the Oath ceremony, that usually they have one every third week in the month, around 22 or 23 of the month. She also said it would have been a possibility to squeeze me in this month ceremony, but I am expected to deliver my baby in a week or two, so it would be better for me next month.

It was a good experience!

Yeah, maybe you'll get email notification by Friday this week. I think this Santa Ana office is the slowest one in the country.

On Friday I got email and text that my interview was scheduled. Today I finally received the letter in the mail. My interview will be on May 13th. Yay!

I see what you mean. Yeah, I figured everything is just a matter of waiting. Hopefully I'll get an update by the end of April. It's not like I am in a big hurry anyway. Thank you!

No, I did not get an info pass appointment. I did not know I was the only person on Sept filers not having an interview yet...And on the uscis website it says Processing Timeframe for Santa Ana field office April 30. I remember when I filled in Sept, it said the normal timeframe for N-400 is 5 and a half months, but for this particular office was 7 and a half months. So, I was thinking to wait until the end of March before I call.

Do you think I should just call on Monday?

I am still waiting for my interview letter...On the uscis website, processing times for Santa Ana office show as of end of January applications from April 30. I remember it was April 14 as of end of December. Does this mean they process in a month only 2 weeks timeframe?? That would make my September 15 application be processed around October. It doesn't seem resonable. Santa Ana might be the slowest office field in the country!!!

"Great", the only news for me: now on the USCIS website for Santa Ana field office as of December 31, it appears April 14. I don't get it.

Nothing so far. I noticed on the USCIS website that they no longer say "if you have not received a notice by February 3, make a follow up request for interview" or something to that effect. I hope this doesn't mean our wait has become "indefinite" rather than 120 days.

I also saw that the Fresno office updated its timeline. As of end November, they had just completed applications dated June 29. I'm thinking our interviews may be in March or April.

I also got the yellow letter today (dated 10/22)! They requested me to bring the proof of previous marriage ended and passports/travel documents.

Today I received text and email that I have been placed in line for the interview.

I received my biometrics appoitment today, for 10/17
