My Wife is a US Citizen. She doesn't make enough.
(1) She filled out I-864
We have a joint sponsor who filed taxes jointly with his wife but his wife doesn't work as she is a house wife.
(2) Joint Sponsor filled out I-864
(3) Joint Sponsor's wife filled out I-864A
We have copy of the recent Tax Return Script 1040 filled by the joint sponsor and his wife.
Please try to answer my questions.
A) On I-864 Part 6 #5 We listed the joint sponsor individual annual income stated and backed by a letter by a employer. Is this correct?
B) On I-864 Part 6 #6c Would the Joint Sponsor put 0.00 since his wife is unemployed and does not make anything?
C) On I-864 Part 6 #10 We put the same amount as #5 since the wife is unemployed
D) On I-864 Part 6 #13a/13b/13c We put Adjusted Gross Income on Line 37 of the Joint 1040 Tax Transcript.
E) Would I-864 Part 6 #13a/13b/13c entries be the same in I-864A #11
F) Can #12 be left blank on I-864A since joint sponsor wife is unemployed
Please please help. Any help will be much much appreciated. Thank You so much in advance

Hello,
A quick background about me. I have been living in United States for 12 years (legally). I came here on E1 Dependent (Treaty Trader) Visa and then I filed a change of status to F1 because my E1 visa was about to expire. Currently, I am on OPT and working here. Please note that I have not left the country since I have done my change of status to F1.
On I-130, I have the following:
If your relative currently lives in US, he/she arrived as a: I put Treaty Trader on there because thats what E1 visa is for and this field doesnt allow to put numbers on there so i can not put E1 on there
Arrival Departure Record: Here I put my new I94 number on my F1 Change of status card that I received
Date Arrived: Here I put the date of my last entry in United States which was on E1 Visa
Date I94 will expire: Here I put my expiration of my OPT card
Are these fields correct? Can anyone please help me?
Thank You

Hello,
I am Shahg (26) , I am new to this forum. A quick background about me. I have been living in United States for 12 years (legally). I came here on E1 (Dependent) Visa and then I filed a change of status to F1. Currently, I am on OPT and working here.
My Wife (24) and I met online. She lives in a different state. Me and my family went there and our families got us married. She will not be moving in with me for a year (The reason being that my parents want me to be settled first with my new job and a place before she moves in)
My first question is
(1) If we are currently married and she does not live with me, how could that affect my application or the whole process?
I have been filling out some forms and currently I am stuck on I864. My wife does not make enough and she has only filed one tax return. Her brother who lives in a different house (with his wife and his daughter) will be our joint sponsor. My next questions are
(2) Would my wife file I864 and choose 1a: I am the petitioner
(3) Can she un-check (leave it blank) #13: I have filed a federal tax return for three most recent tax years.
(3) What would she put where she is suppose to enter tax year (13a, 13b, 13c) where you are suppose to enter income for all those years.
(4) Would my brother in law also fill out I864
Questions regarding I864, different address and etc

we do not live together but we are filing at once. Who is suppose to mail in the documents, US Citizen or the Immigrant? or does it not matter. Please let me know.
