  1. That is the record of the shots given but not the vaccinations record form, it should have been Form DS 3025 listing all vaccinations required for the beneficiary. It it was given incomplete or not given at all, you need to see a civil surgeon and complete the vaccinations part of the I-693. Be aware though, most civil surgeons want to do the whole medical exam even though is not required.

Okay thank you. I don't see that in any of records. Is it possible he came here without that form? And how do I get the civil surgeon to fill out the form for me without giving us the medical he doesn't need? Everytime I call an office they say it'll be around $145 for the immigration medical.

  2. I've read several posts about this but still am very confused about our RFE and what we need to do next.

We recieved a RFE that said "You submitted a vaccination record as evidence for your medical examination. You must submit a complete medical examination report either by getting another examination and using Form I-693. Report of medical Examination and Vaccination Record, or send the complete medical examination report which was part of the visa packet given to you for entry into the United States."

It's been 6 months since I've looked at any of our paperwork and I pulled it when we got the RFE in. We have my husband's vaccination records from his family doctor showing his shots given to him as a child and then we have the certificate of immunization from Knightsbridge Doctors where he got his medical, along with his reciept for paying for his medical at Knightsbridge. I also found a CD he recieved at his medical that we haven't opened. Is that something I need to get documents off of to send back with this RFE?

I specifically made sure he got all the necessary shots he needed before he came over here so we wouldn't have to have him do another medical. What else do we need to do?

  3. We're trying to gather everything together to send off our AOS Packet as my fiancé arrived in the U.S. on Thursday. From what I understand you can send off the I-485 form if you've had all of your shots taken care of at the medical in London. We made sure that Knightsbridge marked that all of his shots are complete but from looking at the form it just says that it's a "personal copy of your vaccination record (US Department of State Form 3025) which you will be required to present upon change of status, enrollment in school and application for work in the U.S.A."

Is this all we need to make a copy of for the AOS?

  4. I got a quote from STA travel for a one way ticket which was only £450, apparently these cheaper fairs are available to those who are under 26, so not sure if this applies to you but I strongly recommend contacting them using the form on their website, as they were extremely helpful.

However, having a return ticket is not an issue as long as you remember to cancel the return portion once the beneficiary has arrived. It has been recounted on VJ in the past that the seat has been given to someone else when the original person has not arrived for the flight, but the name hasn't been changed, so it then appears to USCIS that the beneficiary has left the country and abandoned their green card petition when in fact they have not.

    Hope this helps!

P.S I am happy to PM you the email address of the STA representative that quoted my flights, she was great! Just let me know.

Oh wow! Yeah that would be great if you could send it over.

  5. tomorrow my fiance will have his medical! We will petition for his interview next Wednesday, one week from time medical was done. I suspect he will be interviewed last week in February or first week in March

Just so you have somewhat of a timeframe of where London is at right now, we submitted our readiness form on January 5th and our interview was scheduled for February 17th.

  6. Nice to know. Thanks for the advice. It seems I have everything and 10x overkill. I guess I will just give them what they ask for on the day so not to burden them. But I have everything here mentioned. :dancing: :joy:

Have you had an interview scheduled yet? Our dates are very similar and we are waiting on ours.

  7. Quick question! The medical is scheduled now, and the confirmation email is received. They are asking for a letter from the embassy with a case number and visa category confirmed. We never received the packet 3 (moving house in the middle of the process screwed things up), and the only letter I have is the NVC notice, which has the case number, and says it is for a K visa.

Would this work? Or should I email the embassy and try to get something before his interview (January 29th)?

    Thanks guys!

My fiance got his medical done on Jan. 3rd and we hadn't received packet 3 yet OR the letter from the NVC. They just asked for it and when he said he didn't have it they told him just make sure it's the correct case number and that they embassy had received the case.

  8. Does anyone know anything about the CEAC website? Our case became "Ready" there on Jan.5th and once it became ready underneath they had these dates listed

Case Creation Date: 17-Dec-2014 Status Updated Date: 05-Jan-2015

I hadn't thought about checking back on there until today but now it says

Case Creation Date: 17-Dec-2014 Status Updated Date:

    08-Jan-2015

Anyone have any clue what another update means? I assume maybe the interview may be getting scheduled as we've already completed the medical and all of the necessary documents? Or maybe they are just now getting out to sending packet 3 since we never received that.

  9. Hello everyone! Our case finally became "ready" at the embassy today. My fiancé completed his medical on the 3rd and then tonight filled out and submitted the DS-160 and form of readiness. We keep seeing things about "packet 3" is this something else we need to be looking out for in the mail and sending something back physically to the embassy or is it just telling us to fill out the two forms online? ive seen on the forum the link that you get in packet three but on there it says "do not send any of these documents to the embassy. Bring them along to your interview" so I'm a little confused on if/what we need to be sending to the embassy. We're just trying to stay ahead of the game. Thank you!

  10. For those who've already had their cases shipped from the NVC to their respective embassies, how long does that process usually take? Just a few days, right?

We got out case number on Friday, so my fiance booked his medical yesterday for January 12th but they said they want him to bring the letter confirming the embassy received our case (which obviously, they haven't yet - but because all we needed was the case # to book the medical, we did what most London applicants do and booked it with just the case #).

But now I'm hoping and praying the NVC ships it to the embassy before the holiday (so it'll technically be traveling over the next few days) so he can get packet 3 to bring with him to the medical.

I'm confused about this too. Please let me know what you find out. My finance's medical is booked in London for Jan. 3rd and our case has been "In transit" since Dec 19th. Although, according to the DHL website that was linked it should be arriving in London tomorrow.

  11. Our NOA2 approval was on December 4th and mailed to the NVC on December 9th and I called everyday and each time they told me it wasn't there yet and it usually takes 35 days. I usually call first thing when they open in the morning and still have to wait around 30 minutes on hold each time. Yesterday they said they hadn't received it and then this morning when I called at 6:35am Central time he told me it was there and had been given a case number just 10 minutes prior to him talking to me. So the case number seems like it gets assigned within a day or two which is awesome. My fiancé now has his medical scheduled in London on January 3rd, which was the earliest they had available.
