Hi there, I am about to send off the k1 petition, Im just begining the process. Do I send a money order of $265 or is it $340? I am so confused. Or do you pay on the day of the interview?

My fiancé is American. Born in Boston and we would like to move there. He has just lived in Ireland for over 20 years and we want to start a new life in America.

He has been paying taxes here in Ireland. He moved over to Ireland when he was 5. Will evidence that he does pay taxes in this country not work?

He does have family in Boston, who would let us use their address, but we are considering moving to New York, could we change address once we moved over? Or will eveything have to be done from Boston, like the AOS?

I was wondering would anyone be able to help me.

I am just starting out the whole K-1 Visa process, and I am stuck already, my fiancé is an American citizen but is

living in Ireland for the past 20 years, so when he goes to fill in the place of residence in the U.S. he doesnt have one, he has a job here but not in the America. We do have savings though.

Has anyone else come up across this? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also where does he file the petition since we are both living in Ireland.
