My greencard expired in April 08, I already submitted I751 (CR1) in Jan 08 within 90 days. Here is my question, can I apply for citizenship? and when can I submit the papers?

What's the timeline of I751 takes as I looked at the service center and they are processing April 2007.

USCIS law requires that an immigrant send in an AR-11 change of address notice within 10 days of a move, and that a US citizen sponsor notify USCIS of a change of address within 30 days of a move, or face monetary fines and/or jail time.

Tell them to get the address change notice in asap.

Any good news? Wish u good luck to all who are on AR/AP. Ok now one of colleague has applied for US Visit Visa, he is paki, he have permanent residence of Canada. His family is there also in canada and this is not his first visit. They have put him on AR/AP for 3 months now. So people who are waiting.... have hope and keep faith on Allah that whatever happens.... happens for good.

Now I have a qts, I am travelling to usa first time, that part of the world is new for me. I don't know what should I expect? I kinda nervous now becoz it's really nerve racking the expierence of beginning all over again from scratch. So anyone haf idea what should expect there in NYC?

I haf a qts.... If anyone can help me. I'm thinking of getting international driving license, (living now in Dubai).... UAE government accept US, Canada and other european licenses and they can give them UAE driving license without anything to do, I mean any driving test or anything. Does US accept UAE license and can i drive their on International license?

Laney he is at home now. We have to schedule larger more extensive surgery within one month. He is upset about the other surgery but is doing great from the one today. Thanks for asking and he is sitting by me and grinning ear to ear.

Now for my news. Still nothing from the embassy or DOS. I will try and call DOS again this afternoon or tomorrow for my weekly no information news.

Good news and Bad news for JP. They removed the growth from his ear and replaced an ear tube. Bad news is the major surgery will have to be scheduled in few weeks to month out. The cholesteatoma has returned and will need to have it repaired again for the 8th time. Dr. says surgery is too risky at this hospital and need to go to another one. Please keep us in your prayers.

Nas got to the Embassy about 9am, turned in his interview letter and chat session then proceeded to wait!

He was there until after 5! They called his name, said you get your Visa - we are sending to Karachi on Friday. Time to hunt for plane tickets!
