Why not show some proper decorum, and inquire beforehand if it is appropriate to show up a day early for the reasons you describe?
I did. Different people from USCIS told me different things, so I was wondering whether anyone had succeeded before.

During an infopass appointment, the officer told me that they have a backlog because several of the interviewers have recently retired, and they haven't been able to find replacements quickly.
My timeline is similar to ez2007's.

Has anyone been able to do their interview a day early without rescheduling?
I applied with my parents and their interview is a day earlier than mine, and I was hoping to complete my interview with them.
I know that you can do this for biometrics, but I wasn't sure about the naturalization interview.

I believe the Seattle office does ceremonies at 11:20 am every day for people who have completed the interview by a certain time that morning. If your interview time is early, you would be able to do the oath on the same day, but if it's too close to 11:20 or later in the afternoon, you would have to do it the next day.
