OCT 20, 2025- NBI CLEARANCE PICKED UP AT NBI MAIN OFFICE AND SENT TO USEM VIA 2GO.

OCT 21, 2015- NBI CLEARANCE RECEIVED BY USEM.

OCT 22, 2015- CHECKED CEAC AND CALLED USEM. STATUS STILL ON AP

OCT 23, 2015- 5:20 AM ( US PACIFIC TIME ) CHECKED CEAC.VISA ISSUED!!!!!!!!!! =D

If you have received the 221(g) requesting additional documents you are required to follow the instructions including the means to which you return the documents to them. The process is simple, but be sure to following the instructions closely so as not to generate another 221(g). The return of the documents is usually done through 2go and at no charge to you. Further instructions will be at the bottom of that letter. This 221(g) will delay your process so move as quickly as possible to return the requested documents back to USEM.

We received a 221(g) and returned the information the next day after receiving the letter from USEM with the required documents. Two weeks later we had our visa in hand.

hello.. did u send a submission slip with the document? yesterday my husband sent his nbi clearance and the 221g form but no submission slip. IS THAT OK?

I recieved 221g email form USembassyManila. Done interview last Oct. 02, 2015 for immigrant visa, the consul told me to submit additional documents CENOMAR and PROOF of relationship. After submitting it, how long wil it takes to approve tha visa?

hello! I just want to ask if you received your visa already? got 221g during the interview oct 19.submitted the nbi clearance with AKA name on it oct 20.

No one can tell you for sure what your processing time is once you submit your answer to your 221g. Generally, it can be one-two weeks but we have seen others go a month or more. You'll just have to be patient.

Don't buy your plane tickets till you have your visa in your hands.

This making me a little bit sad, but on a brighter side I'm assuming he passed the interview. It took 3 months for my friends husband to receive his visa for we have the same situation. Good thing I dint buy tickets!

A 221g for requested documents can add weeks to the process - AFTER the embassy receives the document.

thanks... I hope we can get his visa soon. IM assuming he passed the interview because the consul told him that the petition is looking good and the documents submitted is complete. All he needed is the nbi clearance. My friends Boss was missing his nbi too and it only took him 1 week.

Hi. Sorry if I seem to highjack your thread.. But I just want to ask about the AKA on the NBI clearance. I have a copy of my wife's NBI clearance and I dont see the A.K.A.on hers, it has her married name, maiden name printed.. I dont really understand the AKA thing. Does the word A.K.A (also known as) has to be printed on the NBI clearance itself? She doesnt have any other names used just her maiden name. Anyways I sent all our documents to NVC a month ago and we're waiting for the next step.

hello! What my husband told me is that they didnt put the A.K.A, instead they put Y. EX. MARIA LOURDES GOMEZ Y VILLALOBOS. thats how they did his. On top was my husbands correct name then under it is HIS FIRST NAME THEN THE CORRECT MIDDLE NAME Y MIDDLE NAME THAT IS SHOWIN ON HIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

My husband had his interview earlier AT MANILA US EMBASSY and we were told that an administrative process has to be done due to his NBI document didnt contain the A.k.a... It was a mistake on my part... I received the email but didnt really understood that the A.K.A has to be included in the nbi... HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE THE VISA IF WE ARE ON AP? We will send the NBI clearance tomorrow. Despite the expected delay STILL WE ARE THANKFUL THAT THE INTERVIEW PART IS OVER.. THANK YOU LORD!! Consul said that all the paperworks for petition is good. We just have to submit the NBI..

My husband had his medical done at slec yesterday, September 22,2014. He was inStructed to come back at 7:15 am. Is it a sign that he might be asked for sputum test????? Im worried cause this might cause delay if this happens. His interview date is on October 19,2015. Im very anxious but at the same time hopeful that everything will be ok. Been reading blogs about their experiences during medical at slec. One blogger mentioned that she was schedule to come back in the afternoon, so she is assuming that she passed her medical because most sputum test are done in the morning. THIS MADE ME MORE ANXIOUS CAUSE I KNOW THAT SPUTUM TEST ARE DONE EARLY IN THE MORNING!! I HOPE NOT MY HUSBAND!! =C PRAYING FOR A GOOD RESULT...

I believe you have to call the number that is on the website for your country. My wife made a mistake when registering, so she called the website operators and they were able to correct the issue over the phone.

The "READY" status means that the Embassy/Consulate has received your packet from DHL and has physically scanned it into their system. So I think you're ready to ace that interview!

Did u register at US Travel DOcs for your visa delivery address?

I have registered (at usatraveldocs) and selected the 'premium delivery' option. Send that baby to our home ... we're ready to go!!

I MADE A MISTAKE.. INSTEAD OF CHOOSING PHILIPPINES I CHOSE THAILAND.. AND ITS NOT LETTING ME EDIT IT.. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO DO THAT? Mine was showing still at NVC for 5 days before the status change to In Transit.....They must send them out one time a week...

You can schedule at St. Lukes with just your NOA2 so yes you can.

Case was completed and just waiting for IL then I found out I made a mistake in my AOS form.. I wrote my recent 2014 total income... to my current annual individual income. How can I correct this??

Yes, it's different. You obtain police clearance from the police station in your area.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to let you all now that our case has been updated from F2A to CRI as of today Sep. 9 2015 for us it took a total of 20 days

You're so lucky.. It took me 69 days and my case complete date was august 17 then changed to sept. 3 since thats the date when my visa cat.was upgraded to CR1. They upgraded it to IR1 but called them that Ive been married for 1yr and 2 mos only which make the category fall to CR1 not IR1. Dont want to have problems eventually thats why even though it would be nice to be in IR category id rather have it fix now that regret it in the end.

Anybody rcvd IL whos case completion date is given 1st week of sept? Just wondering how fast they give out IL.My case completion date was sept. 3.
