Mine changed from February 26 to March 5 ....

My case was transferred to my local office, I didn't get my biometrics done either, last time I did them was around June 2015. So maybe they will call me for biometrics, for an interview OR directly approved, time will tell.
I'm relieved to hear I'm not the only one without biometrics done. I did my last biometrics in April 2015 so maybe it was recent enough for them to use our old ones.

I'm a December 2017 filler..no biometric appointment, and I call them after a month and they said I don't need them, they using the old ones. And today I checked and my case was move to the local office on February 25. Hope is a good news!
I'm glad I'm not the only one without biometrics done! Do you remember when you had your first biometrics for your greencard?
-
Mine also shows that it was transferred to my local office yesterday. My notice date is 06/08/2017. The weird thing is: I haven't even received a biometrics appointment yet. I wonder if I will still get a biometrics notice or if they just approve my case without new fingerprints done.

Mine also shows that it was transferred to my local office yesterday. I'm a June 2017 filer. The weird thing is: I haven't even received a biometrics appointment yet. Is there anyone else here who hasn't been to their biometrics appointment?

My NOA1 is June 6th and now over 3 months later I still haven't received my biometrics appointment yet. It doesn't matter to me since I'm going to be outside the country until around March but I'm starting to wonder if I will ever get my new greencard.
When I try to check my status online it still says that it can't be found....
-
My NOA1 date is also June 8 and I still haven't received a biometrics letter yet. Yesterday I finally called USCIS and talked to a Tier 1 guy. Since it's been 34 days he put me on hold, contacted my local office and when he got back to me he told me that they are going to send out a letter very soon and that I can call back on August 13th (30 days later I guess) if I still haven't received anything by then. I really hope that my letter is on its way now ...

It's dated 06/19/2017. And i received it on June, 23. ..
Seems like they sent very few during past 2 weeks. But today looks like people started getting their biometric appointments again
Yours is on its way, I'm sure
Thank you, I really hope so!

Just got back from lunch... Yep, it was biometric appointment!!!!
It's weird because it's dated as June, 30... I wonder WHERE it's been "floating" for 10 days...???? Anyway, my appointment is scheduled for the next Monday, July 17.
Seems like "ice has been broken" and they've started sending the appointment letters again, after some break .
Hope yours will find you soon!!!!!
Lucky you, congrats! I just checked my mail and still nothing.
But my check has been cashed and everything. What date was your first NOA?

Hello, we got our appointment letter yesterday 7/8 for an appointment on 7/18. Do I need to go with him? Does he need to take anything really other than his resident card? Sorry it's really early and I just saw this in the mail (I subscribed to the usps mail preview when I saw ya'll recommend it and didn't check the mail yesterday and happened to just look at my email on an early morning what time is it break) and had a wait I wasn't expecting this moment so I'm super confused.
What date was your first NOA? Mine was 6/8 and I still haven't received a Biometrics Appointment yet ... I'm starting to get nervous because I'm leaving the country on August 3rd for a few months.

Congrats! Did your status change online or did you just receive your green card in the mail?
Thank you! My online status changed, but I just checked it today after I found my card in the mail and it says "My card was delivered to me by the post office." I don't know to what it changed before that because I told myself not to check it again until January.

Hey guys,
I haven't been in here for a while, my job is keeping me busy lol. I'm not up to date anymore.
Just wanted to let you all know that I received my greencard this week!! I didn't even expect it, it was soo surprising! I got an interview waiver letter the end of July and I thought it would at least take another 6 months like they mentioned in the letter. I still can't believe it went so fast!
So there is hope for all the people that are getting interview waiver letters!
Have a great evening!

After receiving work permit, do you have to wait until you receive you ssn in the mail before you can start working?
No, you can already start working after you applied for a SSN, but most jobs want you to tell them your SSN while you are applying ... so it's a bit complicated.
-
Oh my! Getting a job seems tougher now that I have my EAD lol..
I got 4 interviews this week.. and only one replied back for another round of interview.. I hope we all get the job soon.. Tough staying at home..
I wish for more EAD approvals you guys ?
And more job offers ?????
Haha I know exactly how you feel! I'm also sending out my resume everywhere but I didn't even get invited for an interview yet. I have the feeling that in this small city I live in it's just about who you know .... very frustrating.
What kind of jobs are you applying for?
-
I received my approval notice in the mail last saturday and yesterday, my card finally arrived! So happy!
Now hoping for a fast greencard approval.
-
Omg my EAD/AP finally got approved!! But I also only got an approval notice in the mail, my online status didn't change. The notice says that the card will be sent separately so let's see when it will arrive in the mail.
I'm really soo happy, I could cry for joy! It feels like my life finally makes sense again, I can work, get my DL and so on...
Congrats to everybody whose EAD/AP also got approved! And good luck to the rest of us who are still waiting, you will be next! Seems like us April filers are moving on now!
-
Yep, I experienced the same. I'm getting really impatient now, I submitted my forms on March 27th and still haven't heard anything yet. I had my biometrics on April 30th. It's so frustrating.
-
I got my biometrics done today!
Congratulations! Now your EAD and AP should be there soon.
-
It can change to "Case is ready to be scheduled for interview" if you will have an interview or that your EAD and AP are approved, whichever comes first. There is really no definite time when the status changes, so try checking it every week.
Thank you for your response! I expected to get another status change first like "biometrics received" or something, but if that's all that will come then I have to wait a little longer.
-
I arrived on January 8th and had ORD as my point of entry.
It was super easy and smooth, it only took about 3 minutes and I didn't even have to go to secondary. It was no different than arriving as a tourist. So no worries, I'm sure you'll be fine.
-
Hey, I have a quick question.
Does the online case status change after the biometrics appointment? I had my biometrics last Thursday and nothing has changed yet ...
-
No worries, it took us 3 weeks to get the biometrics appointment letter. It will come soon.
-
Don't worry! You will find one. Just start sending resumes now. I started sending my resume couple of days I arrived. Yes, I got 4-5 calls who did not proceed with my In-Person Interview but I found one which was willing to wait for my EAD to come out. Just be honest about our visa status as not to waste people's time
But I am telling you, it is worth it
Thanks for your info!
I will definitely try to send out resumes in the next few days and hope I can find something ... if not I'll just try again once I get my EAD.
And congratulations for your successful biometrics walk in today.
Another AOS April filer here
Hi everyone. Got my NOA today. Good luck to all on the journey!
Hey and welcome! Thank you and good luck to you too!
