  1. A spouse visa entitles your gal to a 2-yr GC in about 2 weeks after arrival in the USA. She can then get a job, driver's license and becomes an LPR. But, this visa has costs incurred in the Phil. that the fiance' visa does not like the marriage license cost, any counseling required, the marriage ceremony and its costs and the time you will have to stay in the Phil. to accomplish all of this. A fiance' visa has more costs involved once your gal gets to the USA such as the marriage costs and the filing of the AOS in order for your gal to get her 2-yr GC. All of this can take considerable time and money. I chose the fiance' visa and costs in the USA mainly, because I didn't want to be registered in the Phil. It is a personal choice. Most gals want to get married in the Phil. so their family can attend the wedding and reception which can be costly, but cheaper than in the US. I hope this helps... I have no doubt that others will post their opinions and experience.

    Best of luck!

Sorry, my post may not apply to your question and situation.

its ok thank you for the info :)

  2. Exemptions from PDOS and Peer Counseling Seminar

For children 12 years old and below are exempted from attending the PDOS. They must, however, be registered, even if by proxy. The following additional documents are required if the proxy is not the legal/natural/adoptive parent of the registrant.

    1. Original and photocopy of one(1) of valid identification card with photograph of the proxy
    2. Special Power of Attorney authenticated by Diplomatic Post if parent/s/ or guardian/s are based overseas; or a duly notarized authorization letter executed by parent/s or guardian/s while in the Philippines.
    3. Other documents that may be required by the registration officers.

Some applicants were asked for CENOMAR since they didn't bring it.

I did get my NBI, birth certificate and CENOMAR two months ago. So these were recent. Some were being asked for the latest NBI even though it is still within one year of validity.

do i need CENOMAR? is K1 and spouse visa have the same requirements needed?

i am applying spouse visa still i need that?

thank you for the quick reply

  5. When you said your vaccination record, did you mean your personal record from childhood or the record from your St. Lukes medical exam? If it was your own record, that's fine. They will evaluate you for which ones you need. If it was the actual vaccination record from your medical exam, then call St. Lukes and ask for a copy.

( SLEC: St Lukes Extension Clinic, where you did/will do your medical )

what i am talking about is my record from childhood do i really need that? as i said my record been washed out by the typhoon ... really appreciate if u will reply again
