Shank and her husband, Jim, won $1 million after suing the trucking company involved in the wreck. After legal fees, the couple received $417,000.
This is crimminal in itself!

I actually started in I2US too. But I think I've lost my account because they made some server changes while I was "away". I still "lurk" there now and then and see some familiar names but most of those who were there during "my time" have moved on.
I remember you from when I first started there, I think June of 2005. Last year they lost the whole site, all the information, posters, everything. It was a server problem, it took a very long time to get it up and running and then they tried to salvage as much info as possible.
Thankfully, our immigration journey is done! My SIL never wants to see Juarez ever!

i don't buy it. something doesn't smell right
The old trick of the non-posting, off-topic-and-mena-follower!!!
Saludos,
Caro
I am not a big poster here or at Immigrate2US, I guess I am just not that outgoing as a person. Again, I am generally amused at the off topic and the MENA crowd. I also have a day job that doesn't keep me too terribly busy, hence the time spent reading.

Once again, I am sitting here at work laughing out loud! I have been lurking here since 2006, so I think I know you all pretty well, at least from a readers point. I also follow the MENA area, I guess I can be entertained easily.
I do check out the polls now and again.
Booty: I am sure many of the posters that you knew are probably gone now, just in the last few months there have been a LOT of newbies.
Again, thanks for the invite.

I feel so very special to be noticed. I am a member of immigrate2US.net. I am the mother-in-law of a once illegal immigrant. (oh no!, don't beat me up)
Anyway, I love to read all the off topic, topics. Many just make me laugh out loud.
Why don't I post? Because I have a hard time to write what I want to say. Besides I don't think I have what it takes to keep up with you "regulars".
Anything else I can answer? Sorry I am not to mysterious or exciting.

AM GOING TO NEED A WAIVER FOR MY WIFE / SHE WAS BROUGHT TO US AS A CHILD AND HAS REMAINED EVER SINCE. AFTER WE MARRIED WE WAITED TO FILE I-130 , HOPING FOR REFORM ACT BUT NOW THE WAITING IS OVER AND THE JOURNEY BEGINS. ANYONE HAD TO APPLY FOR WAIVER LATELY?? NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET.
Your best bet is to come over to www.immigrate2us.net. The majority of people are in the same boat.
My son-in-law's waiver was just approved on 19 Nov 07.

Thanks for the laughs.

Immigrate2US.net is up and running. If you have the web address saved in your favorites you need to update the bookmark. Be sure it says www.immigrate2us.net.
You will need to reregister.

Immigrate2US had their first INFOPASS Pilot Program approval on 8 March 07. Waiver approved and VISA in hand by the end of the day.

Is that you PP? I just came over to help look up the answer.

Nelly, if you don't get a response here, you can try immigrate2us.net. There is a lot of info in regards to CDJ filings.
Sorry, I don't know the answer.

I turned 48 today! I thought when I turned 40 it was all over. Since then I have been having the time of my life.........the kids are gone........house almost paid for..........I can do and go anywhere without getting babysitters, etc.
Just enjoy it. Age is only a number. You are only as old as you feel. I feel like I am in my 20's (maturity wise)

Sorry about the post. This set up here is a little different than i2us. I have been following i2us since May 2005. I'm lexidoodle over there. Congrates on your approval. My daughter and alien husband are now waiting for an interview, I am guessing Feb, Mar 2007. I have been studying all of the waiver letters, I now have 2 paragraphs done! Phew! I am not a good writer, I seem to go on and on and on, then delete, change and then get frustrated and stop for a while. At least I found i2us in plenty of time so there won't be any surprises..................unless the laws or procedures change. Again, good luck, it's all behind you now.

First time post. I posted this earlier, but forgot the title. (don't know where it went) Good news should be shared with all. From the immigrate2us.net site, Three I601 waivers were approved in the last 2 days from Juarez! There is hope!
