You are right, that was the reason why it wasn't working. It doesn't accept credit card from Italy, my husband had to pay it with his american debit card. The call center doesn't help at all, they don't give you any info. We just tried with his card and the payment went through.

Is anyone having problems with the payment of the fee for the home delivery service of the visa on the site ais-usinfo.com?

I tried to pay with my credit card several times but it doesn't work.

They told me to send an email, but no response yet. My appointment is next tuesday..any suggestions?

The Consulate in Naples sent us an email saying that we don't need to use packet 3 and that the interview date is the one scheduled by the NVC. The medical will be one day before, it is automatically scheduled by the Consulate.

The NVC sent me a letter with an appointment date for March 10th, but I didn't get any email from the Consulate in Italy (Naples). I contact them by email and they responded that due to a staffing shortage, some emails and scheduling requests for IVs will not be answered for up to 7 business days. The attached some FAQs stating:

A: The transferring of your case from NVC to Naples can take up to 3 weeks. Once we receive your case we will send you an email with instructions on how you can proceed with your visa application, including what documents you need to obtain before your interview. Overall, processing time from when we receive your petition to when you are scheduled for an interview generally takes from two to four months.

I am really confused, since I don' t know if my appointment is scheduled or not and who has to schedule it, the NVC or the Consulate?

Any ideas?

Our case status on CEAC is READY and we received an email form the NVC with the date of the interview at Naples Consulate. However, we did not receive Packet 3 from Naples and we don't know what we are supposed to do now. The packet 3 that can be downloaded from the Consulate website says to fill out the online form DS 260 (we already did a long time ago) and to send by fax/email a statement to schedule an interview....so what is the inteview date on the NVC email for? Also, for the medicals it is necessary to schedule an appointment?

I just received an email stating an increased review time for AOS and IV package documents, at least 60 days. Is this something common or there is a real delay?

Hello everyone,

We are waiting as well for our IV fee to be invoiced. We filled out the 261 on August 6 and yesterday we were told by NVC that it was reviewed just now and that they would invoice the IV bill probably some day next week. We would like to know how long does it take once they receive both AOS and IV package until they schedule the interview at the consulate. Can anyone help with this?

We have already paid the AOS fee and we are ready to send out the AOS package. However we have a doubt abouth the rest of the documents to send out with the IV package, because the NVC requires all the original documents, but the instructions form Naples consulate that we downloaded from the travel.state.gov page say that we are supposed to bring all the original documents to the interview. The lady from the NVC that I contacted this morning said that they will send all our documents to the consulate, but reading this forum we have seen that the majority of people had the original documents with them when they went to their interview.

Any suggestions about what to do?
