I think i my message was lost in translation. I am not so much angry about her treatment to me, but by a supposedly reputable company defending her lies. I just don't wan't anyone else to be cheated or deceived by her. We can't let these companies get off scott free without some sort of responsilbility.

I wrote and eventually met a woman named Tatiana (her ID is: 1085990). (I traveled to Odessa 2 times) thru Anastasiaweb.com to meet her. I sent her money for English Lessons ($500) and other gifts. She agreed to come to stay with me, during my last visit with her, but when I started the Visa process she mysteriously denied agreeing to coming to America or becoming my wife ( I have a log of all letters between us confirming this). I will enter any courtroom to defend my statements.

She will not repay me any money that I gave her.

I wrote the Anastasia Agency to complain and request her removal from their site for deception, but they have taken her side, and will not remove her from their Web site. They gave me 20 credits as a bribe, but that is nothing compared to the $800 in gifts + airfaire, vacation time, etc. I gave to Tatiana as gifts (cell phone, dress, ring, etc.)

Anyone may write me a private e-mail requesting further details, but I really need your support in calling or writing Anastasia so that in the future so that no other men are cheated by Anastasia or this woman.

Why are so many men like ourselves seeking wives overseas? What has changed in American women that sucessful, intelligent (albeit not-so-handsome as Mel Gibson) men such as oursleves choose to go overseas to find a decent companion??

I'd be curious to discover the motivations my fellow man has for going overseas to find a spouse.

This is not my situation, but what if your girl/woman/potential bride insisted on bringing her Mother/Father etc. also to America after you were married?

I know the family unit in other countries seems to be much tighter, but my opinion is that, "hey, I am marrying you, not your mom and dad."

No, no, no. I was asking about the INITIAL meeting in her homeland. I guess I did not clarify myself. Of course, I would pay for English classes for her while the INS processes the paperwork. I would fully expect (maybe "hope" is a better word) her to be fluent/semi-fluent in English before she arrived in America.

That's why I am so crazy about Eastern European girls. They are so damn smart AND sexy. I know this girl could learn English quickly...

As for me, I have already learned how to say "Do you want to snuggle?" in Russian

Sorry if this q has been answered before, but what are the pros and cons of using an immigration attorney to handle the K-1 visa process? Is one really necessary? Can I save several months of processing time with an attorney to justify the cost (assuming I do everything right by processing the paperwork myself)?

Illegal immigration problem is easy to fix. first, you secure the border (yes, it can be done, w/the proper politcal will) - you stop dam from leaking (or flooding in the case of our southern border). Then you start cracking down on the employers who are hiring them. No jobs, no incentive to come here.

This is why am not voting for any Republican or Democrat candidate that supports amnesty.

I hope anyone from Florida reading this message does NOT vote for Crist for Governor - he supports amnesty.

I may travel to Odessa to meet a woman I have been conversing (w/aid of translator) with. She does not understand English, I do not understand (maybe a teeny bit) Russian.

I'd be interested in suggestions, comments, tips from others who have actually traveled to see their potential mate with little understanding of the language . I have PROMT translator on my laptop, and she has a friend that can act as an interpreter, but I know how frustrating it can be to try communication when you don't understand the other person's language.

I know it's cold to think of this entering a marriage, but has anyone here entered into a pre-nuptial? I don't want to lose my house and pension to *any* woman. I have worked too hard and long to obtain them...
