Just got an RFE today in the mail. Dated March 1st. we don't use a joint bank account anymore since I lost my job, but we did just have a beautiful baby boy on the tenth. I think I may call them to find out exactly what they want... I don't want this messed up, we need that card asap!

I know how you feel. We also had a RFE. My letter did state what I sent that they didnt approve and what they wanted. Along with our baby girls birth certificate I also sent pictures of the three of us! Good Luck!

The RFE advised that I submitted an incomplete 2011 income tax return, expired auto insurance, expired health insurance cards, and only utility and lease agreement for previous residence.

I submitted the info in last summer so of couse the auto insurance and health cards will expire after the new year. We moved and updated our address asap so of course utility bills and lease are from previous residence. We didn't know we were moving for his new job until after he had his biometrics. On the incomplete tax return, I didnt know how much of the tax return they needed so I only sent the front page showing both of our names and filing jointly. Also when I submitted the orginial paperwork I was pregant, so they did request the birth certificate.

We got RFE (request for evidence) in the mail on Saturday! We moved after my husband had his biometrics done from WA to MD. They stated that they needed updated evidence! I can't blame them for wanting more info with us moving to make sure we are still together and after all of the visa's I have done I guess its about time I get one of these!!!

Biometrics done today in Seattle. From the time he got there til the time he was done it took 1 hour 15 min. But at least it is over with now!

Finally moving along - got my biometrics done almost within my regular lunch break time - inside the ASC Tukwila/Seattle for about 20 minutes max! Now the real wait begins

New Bio appointment scheduled and added to list! Funny thing is Andrew could have made our 8/24 appointment since baby came two weeks early! Born 8-10-12! But it will be nice to get this part over with since I now know we are moving from Seattle to Maryland in October!

Sent in requested today to reschedule Biometrics. Hoping for Sept at least and no later since we might be moving! Fingers Crossed.

Thanks for all of the support. It really sucked but I certainly learned from that mistake. First thing the day after mailed off our request to reschedule. Hopefully in will me some time in Sept and not to far out!

I am writing this for others who will be trying a walk-in at the Seattle office, since I was unprepared even though I researched it throughly on here before we went.

Well tried to do a walk in today at the Seattle office for our Biometrics appointment. It was a failure!

I knew the Seattle office was one of the busiest, but thought we would try since original appointment was on my due date. Got there at 7:30am and biometrics desk doesnt open until 8am. They let me in and stated to go to that desk when it opens and they will let me know. Went to the desk and they advised they could call our name if they were able to see us. So every hour a new influx of people showed up and every hour we were waiting. If you had an appointment you were there for about an hour. You walked in with a number they called it and then they let the person who needed the bio to go back. They wait in the back for the bio and then they are done. It was hard sitting there 9 months pregnant with no food for 5 hours and seeing everyone go back and leaving within an hour. I did ask later when did they usually let people without appointments back and she said it depends on when they have one of the biometrics staff with no one to service. Not sure when that would happen with an new batch of people scheduled every hour. We watched the room fill up and empty 5 times before I finally gave up. I will just have to reschedule. At least then I know the appointment will only be an hour!!!

Well tried to do a walk in today at the Seattle office for our Biometrics appointment. It was a failure!

I knew the Seattle office was one of the busiest, but thought we would try since original appointment was on my due date. Got there at 7:30am and biometrics desk doesnt open until 8am. They let me in and stated to go to that desk when it opens and they will let me know. Went to the desk and they advised they could call our name if they were able to see us. So every hour a new influx of people showed up and every hour we were waiting. If you had an appointment you were there for about an hour. You walked in with a number they called it and then they let the person who needed the bio to go back. They wait in the back for the bio and then they are done. It was hard sitting there 9 months pregnant with no food for 5 hours and seeing everyone go back and leaving within an hour. I did ask later when did they usually let people without appointments back and she said it depends on when they have one of the biometrics staff with no one to service. We did a walk-in for early biometrics yesterday, 08/03. It took less than 30 minutes BUT I was given a whole spiel about how the field offices are no longer supposed to do walk-ins and I was supposed to change my appt with USCIS. However, she took one look at my 12 month old son and melted. No lecture, called us 5 minutes later.

Thanks for the update!! We are planning on trying our walk in on Tuesday! I figure they should understand with the 9 month belly!

Thanks for the advise! Our location is Seattle so I'm hoping we don't have to wait to long! I'm definitly play the pregnancy card!

Need to do walk-in app for bio due to expecting our first child born on the 24th which is the day of our app!! Has anyone done their walk-in yet? If so how did it go?

also, does everyone's NOA also say " if not already done so, provide supporting documents to USCIS in processing your petition" .....etc or does that mean they are asking me for more evidence?

I already sent in all the evidence and my letter also said that. I think its just a generic letter.

Our Check was cashed 7/16, now just waiting to hear when his biometric appointment is!

He said it went well, that the waiting was the hard part! Didn't even look at any of the extra evidence I sent him. And the funny thing was the guy who interviewed him grew up 10 minutes from where I live! Small World!

Husbands Interview is in the morning! 9am, I'll still be asleep but hopefully by the time I get up for work it will be all over! So excited, and so ready for all this to be over!
