I want to bring my mom and stepdad here. They were together for 21 years before they got married. So they were considered common law in Canada. They finally got married last year when I was 27, can I still sponsor my stepdad?

Interview letter was sent out on jan 12th and interview was on feb 18th.

Well that's a little depressing. I got my yellow letter 10/14/2014 and haven't heard anything since then, but marco7 got his interview date before me . Hopefully I'll hear something soon. Good luck Marco7.
