  1. Hi all,

Need all your help in this case, I'm trying to schedule an appointment for biometric fingerprinting and photo collection at the VAC in New Delhi, but I do not see any tab to schedule an appointment for biometric fingerprinting and photo collection.

Step 5: Only after completing Steps 1 to 4, log in to http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in to schedule two appointments:

    · One appointment for biometric fingerprint and photo collection at the Visa Application Center (VAC) and

    · One appointment at the Embassy.

The only tab I see is to schedule an interview. Please help!!!

  2. how nvc schedule interviews,, my cc on 22 june and still no interview schedule yet the guys from my country scheduled for cc on 7 july,11 july,or so dates...did calling to nvc helps to get interview schedule earlier?

i don't know how they are scheduling the interview, my case was completed on May 29 still waiting on interview. I called NVC today they said they are still scheduling interviews.

  3. Hi guys

Need your help...I recently got a check list for my wife, and I have a question: in the checklist it mentions "a copy of your visa that states that you may legally remain in canada for six more months. This document must indicate six months validity from the time it is received at the NVC." What happens if the visa is only valid until 5 months ? I Calld nvc they said it should be okay but i want to confirm this before I send in the documents ?

  4. I was told the same thing 2 days ago. I called and was told that I'm missing 2013 Taxes. I told them I didn't file due to not working and not being in U.S. all year. She advised me to write a letter and mail it to NVC and wait 60 days. She also told me to send it before I get the checklist in my email and that's what I did. I sent it the next day overnight delivery with UPS. It has been 2 days since I called and I haven't got the checklist email yet. So sending it before saves some time.

    Good luck!

but still is so ridiculous....the problem is not sending the docs its again waiting 60 days.

  5. Hi Everyone..I have an update on my case so nvc reviewed my aos package which was received by them in sept. They said they will be reviewing the second package in upcoming week or two. that package was received by them in oct 2nd week.

But I'm sure they will be sending the checklist because in the original request they didn't mention if i need the visa status document of her being in Canada, now they are requesting that as well. we were so close, so i asked them if i can bring that to the embassy they said NO...this is so crazy they really know how to play with peoples emotions. i will have to send her visa status document but that will take another 2 months

I have had it with NVC this is crazy.

i'm so stressed out right now

  6. Hi Everyone.

OMG THIS IS LONGEST WAIT AND IT IS PSSING ME OF SO MUCH..cant take this 60 days thing any more....

My Last check in date was Oct 10 and when do you guys think we will get the interview date, our case is in MTL.

Originally our lawyer told us that it will take about 8 months from the day you apply to my wife being here, this guy was so wrong, I wish he had told the right dates.

    Some one please help.

  7. If I'm reading this right, your wife is Indian, in Canada on a visa that is set to expire at the end of November and you are concerned that she will have to leave Canada before her interview in Montreal?

This is an unusual situation. If her visa cannot be extended in Canada (and without knowing what visa she's on, I have no idea if it can be), I would suggest that you call NVC and ask them what they suggest. It is very, very unlikely that she will be getting her interview before the end of November at this point.

Call NVC, explain the situation and ask what they can do. The case may be able to be rerouted to India at this point without trouble.

Yes That is correct, can i move the case to an embassy in India?

  8. Hi All,

maybe some one can answer this, my wife she is canada and i have submitted DS-260 and all supporting documents now waiting on review and interview date. My Wife canadian visa expires end of November, if we don't get the interview date before that what should be our best approach. Can we get the case now transferred to India? I really don't know what to do. please please help

  9. Hi All,

Maybe there is hope for everyone I sent my AOS around 9/20 is once the AOS was accepted, I received o 9/23 stating that "we are currently receiving an increased number of approved petitions fro U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and so on..... We expect it will be at least 60 days....."

But on Oct 2 2014 my IV Fees was approved and now I'm completing the DS-260.

  10. Hi Everyone,

    Need help with DS-260

My wife came to Canada from India, on Student Visa and her education just completed but when I filed the I-130, we wrote occupation as STUDENT. Now when We are filing the DS-260, Under Primary Occupation i have selected Other and under Specify Other have wrote. I HAVE COMPLETED MY STUDIES. so my question is do we need to write anything else besides this?

2nd Question: in Security and Background Information

The question Do you have documentation to establish that you received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. Law? Should I select Yes or No because my wife doesn't have any records but she has received most of the vaccinations. If we select NO what should be the explanation?

3rd Question: When we originally filed the I-130, there was a type in her previous address in India, and I have corrected that in DS-260, is this something I have to worry about?

    Thanks
